Muniain is another absolute corker of a player - but where would you put him? Winger options are looking ominous...Lamela, Lennon, Chadli, Townsend and then Muniain.....holy sheet!

You would use him as rotation with Chad. Lennon is not a viable option for me as a inside winger on the left. He works best as a orthodox right winger. Muniain and Chad on the left, Holtby, Sig and Eriksen in the middle, Lamela and Townsend on the right... thats a pretty complete attacking midfield in my mind.

What abut Canales from Valencia?

I would be surprised if it was a Valencia player seeing how awkward they can be and their inability to keep quiet about anything

however, if we have been given encouragement, i would think its someone we have previousley dealt with (so Valencia are a possibillity), i have a feeling it might be Barca

If it where Rodrigo would Jasper have said "age under 21..." To me that infers that the player in question is under 21. If he played for the under 21's but was in fact 22 would he not have left the word "age" out of the post?

If indeed it is Rodrigo, then Levy is is the only man who has completely understood the FFP rules. Other than Soldado it can be argued that all signings made and potential ones (Chiriches, erikesn) will be on long contracts because of their age, meaning the outlay per year over the course of the contract will not be particularly high. Also in 4 years time when they are coming to the end of a contract and we may want to sell, the likelihood because of their age and prospective talent is that their values would not have dipped and probably (fingers crossed) increased; due to amortistaion and book value we are potentially putting ourselves in a position to be operating at a huge profit in the future under FFP while spending loads on new talent.

Seriously, if the club deliver Eriksen, Lamela and Chiriches today, to soften the blow of Bale leaving, whilst still known to be actively searching for more quality signings, this is just beyond anything I expected at the start of the summer.
A LB and striker upgrade would just be icing on the cake, but in reality, these are only if Ade and Benny are sold.
