My opinion on the twitter lot.............

I for one follow them on twitter, and personally i think there is some good information in there, inbetween other stuff. However i think that some people have to remember that twitter is not exclusive to SC news etc. People have the right to use twitter how they wish, and i think its nuts how SC has tagged the artist formerly known as Aqyayid as a WUM yet we seem to spend pages and pages discussing his information.

If you think his is a WUM then don't post his stuff, but the whole discussion of his status is getting boring now!!!

I don't think he deserves to be vilified in the way he is on here sometimes

At the end of the day he is Spurs fan like the rest of us

MORNING BY THE WAY

A&C have we reached the point yet where you ban info from the 3 twitter WUMs being posted in here?.... *Crosses fingers in hope*
Ooooh. A difficult question.

Here's my take on the 3 amigos or Twitterati.

Akqayid. We did verify his sources and he did have a good rep when he started out. I think he does get info but he dropped SC like a brass drops her knickers and went to Twitter the minute JJ did. Since then he's been absolutely dire. As i've said before, I don't buy into this 'excited' stuff and think having 'followers' to keep happy has changed him big time. The proof is in the pudding. We've asked and asked that people don't post Akqa's stuff............

Gards: Vouched for by JJ but as he's not on SC we have no real idea as to his sources and were using this window to gauge his reliability. From the little i've seen this Transfer Window (yesterday's 'song' for example) he seems to be going the same way as Akqa which is a shame because he was considered to be pretty good in the summer. For me, the jury is out on him.

Suter: (Have I got that right?) Again, I have no idea as to sources, he hasn't posted much at all that i've paid attention to, but I don't think i've actually seen anything from him that's 'different' or could be put down as his own info. If he's ITK then he suffering from close association with the others and needs to stand apart and be judged on the quality of any info he might have.

As it stands, I would have Gards info allowed to be posted in this thread and I wouldn't write him off as a WUM just yet. I'd avoid Akqa's info like the plague because he's just lost all trust and the third guy, until he's got some sort of track record i'm not convinced is actually ITK at all.

That's my onion anyway.

Anyone think a cheeky bid for Torres is worth a go?? He's clearly not going to recover at Chelsea but is still a class finisher who just needs some coaching. Could we do something with him? Might be a better use of 15 mill than an untried Brazilian...
Expecting to get hammered now..

it's getting boring, so you'll continue the discussion? ;)

I get where you're coming from tho dude, and whilst I'm not as in love with him as you obv are, the only way his stuff won't end up in here is if there's a total blanket ban... 'cos whilst most of us are in or around here for 20 hours a day - the fair-weather SC'ers will end up posting Akqa bits and bobs without realising they're not supposed to.

Akqa, if you're reading, or if this gets back to you (cos your tweeter spies are everywhere) we're just frustrated with the perceived lack of movement - and I for one don't hold you responsible...

Although if you're on a wind-up could you please do it around 9pm rather than at 11.30pm - cos I'm back into working mode after the xmas break now and could do with getting a decent sleep each night. ta!

The thing is they have actively been WUMming the f**k out of people the last two nights and this thread has descended into a discussion of their merits. I'm not sure about anyone else but I tried reading through here last night and totally missed the interesting ITK from Hertsyid (until I checked the read only), all because people were again not towing the line and spending all night talking about these 3 bellends rather than the info.

I'd take Torres for 15m over Leandro.

My personal opinion is similar. He does have links and get info but not to the level that JJ used to. When he saw the attention JJ was getting he resorted to posting rubbish in order to get some himself (like GDS "impressing in training" when he was actually on other side of the world). There were lots of examples of things like that (we had a list somewhere!) and him getting over excited or making comments that hinted at stuff but without actually saying anything so he couldn't be wrong. After we'd called him on that he made some massive statements at the end of the window and really put his head on the block which earned him some respect. He was completely wrong though so must have just been making it up for attention.

I really think we need to move on from this Leandro saga (if hertyid's info is true). We seem to be the only club chasing this guy, so while we're dicking around with Inter, time is running out in securing that striker, a position that's most needed before the window shuts.

It just makes you think that the club are chasing players that are unattainable just to make it look like they are being active in the window. It wouldn't be the first time we've done it!

Why do we allow transfer targets like Leandro to drag on so long? Surely we should get ourselves deadlines, advise the club involved accordingly, and move on if a deal hasn't been done. I suppose some would say we want the deal to drag on as we don't want to actually spend the money. I really hope that isn't what is going on.
well Leandro have been signed on so many occasions , and all the talk has been around him , personally I believe there is better striking options we could have gone for , but that is my opinion only.

Norwegian papers can report that we have redrawn our bid on Zaha. And they think he will go to Utd.

Time for a separate twitter thread so the "REAL" discussions can go on in here. I also follow all 3 but was not too pleased to see members of this forum, you know who you are, piping up and have a pop at some of the posters on SC because they thought/believe Akqa is a wum. No need for it.

We had one last time and it turned into another discussion thread and twitter stuff was still posted in here.
