I'm not really sure what JJ's agenda is with posting this information, but given our current league position i can't see why this would be the case other than in regards to transfers.

DL is no mug and to be pissing off our new manager who has frankly worked a small miracle to get us where we are in the league right now would be an insane thing to do.

I would imagine if this is the case it must be down to frustration with AVB not being able to get in the player(s) that he wants (i.e. Willian and Moutinho).
I'm not sure there was an agenda, but somebody asked him.

The things us though managers come and go, there needs to be an approach to transfers that reflects a longer term plan, I want AVB to succeed more than anything and am extremely pleased with the club, but if all falls on it's face most or at least the core of players that are in will remain
What if the next manager doesn't want those core of players?

You also have to remember all ITK comes with a built-in bias depending on who the source is and what their relationship is.

JJ does/did (?) get some good info but he's always had some kind of agenda when it comes to club politics.

Just look at his message just now about avb and dl.

What does the actual tweet say? I can't view his tweets.

I don't understand why he'd release information about in-fighting, to be honest. Hardly seems helpful...

Can we please get some ITK on what toys AVB has been throwing out the pram. My guess is baby cries a lot.

Just my opinion...

I don't believe for a second that Damaio will cost £20m +.

No doubt that the deal will be more complicated than most but I believe he's gettable for around £15-18m.

And we'd be right not to go any higher than that.

I doubt any manager will ever have a good relationship with DL. Levy is similar to Abramovich in believing that managers are disposable and he knows best in all things. The evidence being the huge number of managers we have had under his charge. He got rid of BMJ, he got rid of Harry when both had taken the club to higher league positions than before. AVB was a cheap option ith little money to pay in compensation to anyone for either the new or outgoing manager. DL is not going to give any manager what they want unless that falls in direct alignment with what he wants. Fryers, Holtby, looking at Zaha are all DL type deals. Leandro or Mouts are not; i.e. paying top price for an established player. That is why I will be shocked if we get any of the established names being bandied about...unless they are on a free or ultra cut price deal

Yes he completely did.
He wouldn't even attend the transfer meetings and refused to take part in frustration at not getting his players.
Threatened to quit too.
Is that the reason for a strained relationship now? Is AVB winning the war of attrition?

No disrespect to anybody...but I don't think there is a problem between DL and AVB. There may be problems getting the AVB targets but that is to be expected.
I once spoke to a director of football and the meetings and work that they have to do in order to get a top targets can be dragging and long haul.
If Mouts is AVB priority and Porto is not interested or are asking too much then it is not Levy's fault. If Porto agrees but then Mouts wants too much - signing fee, wages... - then it is not Levy's fault. However, it seems that Levy messed up late August.
We are all aware that we have a salary scale at THFC that will be respected and I am sure that Levy and AVB agreed on that when they begun working together. We may move on to other targets and I believe a time scale will be set for that.
