Per the Goat's news, is Defoe in Tblisi? I didn't see him in the training pics/videos (nor Ade). Soldado, Kane, and Coulthirst were there. I know vert and lennon were rested for minor injuries but avb specifically mentioned them.

i just worry about if soldado is out injured and the whole hold up play option and giving the defence a break .. defoe is totally incapable of playing this role but yeah he created chance for himself and thats what he is good at but im looking at the overall team effect which is what it will have to be when bale leaves.

soldado will get us 20 goals this year definte . if defoe was our main striker, would he get 20 ? no chance imo. there is better all round quality strikers out there to take defoe and adebayor place. its tricky one alright but i would not lose sleep over getting rid of both and bringing one in..

I disagree with the bold bit as well. He has shown he is capable of doing this and playing with more maturity.

Soldado will get 20 this year definite? Bold claim. I'm not going to go against you, two in two but both from the Pen spot so far. I don't doubt Soldado is better, that's why he's number 9 and cost £26m. But Defoe is a perfectly adequate backup for me, and Ade too as all three bring something different and the latter two have proven that they can score goals against any side in the league.

Really needs to be some sort of universal agreement on how agents are regulated. FIFA need to get their act together. Of course when compared to the governing body itself agents begin to seem less corrupt!

Except the insane amount of turnover. We need to keep some original players and frankly cannot see how will do better than Defoe or Ade at prices we will be willing to pay once the splurge is over. Defoe did score a few good goals last year.

The Arse give money to RM. RM give the money to us. We buy a new team. Therefore, the Arse have bought us a new team.

At the same time, we lose Bale and the Arse get two new forwards. It seems like we sacrificed our best player to strengthen them.

The two scenarios don't gel, and I can't figure out which (if either) is true.

We was allways losing Bale eventually tho , be it this season or next, and since WPD announced the biatch im not so sure anymore ?
