JJ has retired once before though hasn't he, only to come back. Let's just hope it's the case again and he has a change of plan.

People's sources move on. IMO JJ's info seemed less close to the centre once Sherwood/Ferdinand/Ramsey left the club.

All ITKs' lifespans are limited. New ones will appear more connected to new regimes.

We get linked to hundreds of players via foreign media outlets, and 99% of them are complete bollocks. Fact is every player we send scouts to watch is "signing for us" according to various foreign media outlets. It's hardly a surprise that the ones we do end up signing are ones that have been linked in exactly this way. Believe me when I say being able to totally dismiss certain incredibly strong rumours is far more ITK, than hearing we are interested in certain players.
