It's not. You know it isn't. It's a decent league with some decent teams but it's behind the Prem, Serie A, La Liga and the Bundesliga. Probably of a better standard than the Dutch League on a par with the French.

I'm not against AVB but there are concerns about him which shouldn't be ignored after his time at Chelsea. It's convenient to blame Chelsea be it their players or the owner but it was his job to manage that.

He might be brilliant at Spurs IF he gets the job but I don't think those of us who express concern should be shouted down just because others want him in the job asap. He's young. His time at Chelsea tells us we should be wary. The number of successful managers aged 34 in the Prem or anywhere else over the years is small. It doesn't mean he's gonna fail or be shite. BUT it is a legitimate area of concern especially for Levy who has to make the decision.

You make good points there.

I still doubt how likely a guy is to tell his players to celebrate with him. I still say that Portugal is an underestimated league with some big players playing in it. No it isn't one of the 4 best but its in the top 5. I don't think you can write off winning a quadruple with Porto because it wasn't with a German, Italian, Spanish or English club.
It's true that concerns shouldn't be shouted down but what manager comes without concerns?
Age is a particularly shallow concern.

The reason people are down about AVB is your all hyping up his Porto days. He took over a team with already fantastic players in a poor league. He left and so did Falcao and they still won the league this season. I think he may have been found out slightly at Chelsea but if he is our manager then I will give him the benefit of the doubt and get behind him. I still think Blanc should be our first choice.

He has gone nowhere. Some clown started the rumour from the looks off it then deleted it.
Dont think there is much to get excited about.
Moyes odds dropped based on rumours he had left.
Blanc odds drift due to French journos saying he wont quit France. What do Journos know? Every English Journohad HR as Englnad Manager. They think they know, but they know nothing.

Its Still AVB or Blanc for sure...... with more and more ITK coming out that its AVB.

I'll be honest. I don't understand half of the posts even. I'm not a gambler so I can understand straight odds, but some of the other lingo is like me trying to read a technical manual. Way over my head.

I know nothing about it. I went into a betting shop and put some cash on Holland "to win outright." I was pretty pleased when the computer brought up a category called 'Outright win' as it made it look like I knew what I was doing.

We may not all agree on Moyes as manager, but I think we can agree that he has some decent principals. And there is no way he would just quit Everton to come here or anywhere else. He would sit down with Kenwright* and work out something if and when a bigger job came/comes around. He won't do one on Everton. He's too decent for those kind of shenanigans.

It doesn't take big money to effect the market on "next manager" bets, unlike most markets they really can swing on just a few thousand pounds.

I tried the other day with Vandelie Luxemborgo and that went nowhere. But then again I only have one follower and my mom doesn't know much about football. But she does say I'm handsome.
