Depends on your definition of a while too. Today is Day 3. The Ramos-Redknapp switch happened entirely overnight.

That was a one off. We already had Ramos in place while Martin Jol was ACTUALLY MANAGING A FOOTBALL GAME.

Think all ENIC's appointments have been pretty much immediate, except the Hoddle-Santini one.

Yeah, that doesn't mean things could be sorted quickly this time. What if Levy wants Blanc? (Not saying he does, it's just an option that isn't immediate).

Things probably will be wrapped up quick, chances are it could well be AVB. I wouldn't mind that, personally. I think he's a good option.

Disagree. We need someone in pretty quick IMO. We have the Modric saga to be decided, a replacement keeper, and most importantly we have the worst strike force in the league currently with just Defoe and Kane. We need to sign 4 players that will improve us and there is only 8 weeks to the start of the season.

Don't fret. We've had ITK that none of this is down to the manager, because Levy is responsible for all the signings.

I must have missed the word Akqayid reckons everyone has been using. What is it? Arpeggio? Simulacrum? Goulash? Bollocks?

There won't be many transfers going on till after the Euros finish, as selling clubs are unwilling to do deals for players who's value could rise exponentially in the next few weeks. We still can sign up players like Adebayor and Vertonghen without having a manager as players of that ilk will be wanted by any manager. Stop panicking, the sky is not falling, we have time to get this right. Rushing into to these things is a fools game and could be potentially devastating
