I get the impression that some people support spurs just to have a good old moan. Why do it to yourself?

We have the best training facilities in the country, if not Europe. We're having a brand spanking new stadium being built as we speak, we're about to start a Champions League campaign following a 3rd place finish last season and we're bringing players through the academy.

Now ask yourselves if Levy is holding us back...

Honestly chill the fuck out it's embarrassing.

Its nice we got our big business done earlier in the window this year and dont have to worry about the last minute deadline day panic.

Just tweaks needed, no major surgery. Good job little man.

No mate we do it because we dream one day of doing a Leicester because right now we are acting like a small club.. Putting in joke bids and a scatter gun buying policy.. It is totally embarrassing.. I don`t want to hear about the cost of the stadium because we have surely saved that money of the past ten seasons to pay cash.. As I have said before once the stadium is build it`s time for Levy to had the batton to someone with more imagination and ambition!!

I'm not reading 134 and a half pages of nonsense before I post.

But:

If it wasn't for Levy, we wouldn't be in the position we are in today.
1) great young manger with massive potential
2) great young squad with huge potential
3) best training facilities in the country
4) shiny new stadium on the way
5) he's charged is 80 quid for 3 CL games! 80!

There is so many more things he's done for this club. He is the best chairman in the league because he cares not only about the present but the future of the club as well. Most others are only thinking about the present day but Levy, through careful planning and consideration has put our club in a wonderful position going forward. We are in an excellent financial position and are an attractive opportunity for any potential buyers or investors. But I'd actually rather keep Levy than have a sugar daddy throwing money around to massage his ego.

We all want shiny new players to get us creaming ourselves. We all want the excitement of announcements that we've spent 20 million ok X Y or Z.

But, we all know what happened when we did that with the not so magnificent 7. We've watched Liverpool do it there seasons running and still finish below us.

He has his faults, he takes his time getting deals done, but that's because he wants to do right for the club. He is hard to deal with because of this but he is master at getting the best deal for us.

Disagree with me all you like but Daniel Levy is moving Tottenham forward.

If Pochettino quit and we got in a caretaker manager it would be Groundhog Day all over.

But at the moment he's doing well.

Now ask yourself how an amazing stadium has done for Arsenal and if their fans would rather success on the pitch with a buying policy thats fit for purpose..

Ask yourself what we would have achieved if we spent even +£20 million net per season instead of -£5 million over the last five years..

We'd probably have someone like David Luiz instead of Toby in defence and maybe Angel Di Maria instead of Lamella if we were really ambitious, with Benteke up front instead of Harry.

I dont know, why dont we ask Liverpool - who have actually been spending 20m net per season

If we'd spent +20m over the last five seasons we would have blocked the progression of some of our best young players; Kane, Alli, Dier etc.

Anyway, since when was throwing money around a gaurantee of success?

All the teams around us have upgraded big time, Palace, Everton, Stoke etc, whereas we have at best stood still because that **** refuses to spend money, very likely Palace and Everton will finish above us now

All we need is a couple of injuries and it is season over, thanks Levy, just die man ffs
Have you considered therapy?

Di Maria is amazing I would 100% have him in our side... Benteke - NO Luiz - NO

My point is we have done well to a point and with a bit more investment we could have actually achieved something.. I seem to remember we did not invest last time we were in the champions league and ended up going backwards.

Its a piss poor window. No other way to describe it. We signed 2 bench players. And sold about 5.

That stadium has enabled arsenal to pay the wages which have kept them in the CL for 16 consecutive years.

And they have won exactly what for the last dozen seasons in doing so?

See the difference is that Wenger rinses and recycles finishing in the CL places for the last xxxxx years. I bet that their fans were more proud of their FA Cup win than CL qualification and i would be too.

I am all for being prudent but The Emirates was supposed to be their cash cow for bigger and better things, but that has seriously never happened now has it?
