Sorry, I can’t get behind this England team if they’re going to continue to play this way.

How can we play pressing football with ONE midfielder? The issue was as clear as day at the WC and it looks like It still hasn’t been addressed.

Despite his golden boot, Kane hasn’t looked good for England since this shift to a back 3. The team should be built around Kane.

It’s frustrating because there’s so many good players in the England set up but Southgate will ruin them if he persists with this boring and unproductive style of football.

Can't be fitness. Unless there s some mystery injury.

I think, like in the wc he is being asked to play as a playmaker in midfield. But he isn't messi, that's not his skill set. He can play a great pass, but he should be up top.

Exactly. Go back to 4231. Kane up top, Alli behind him, lingard coming in from the left and sterling on the right. Play them in their club places.
