Only players that didn't impress me particularly were the centre half (Clarke-Salter?) and Maitland-Niles*, who both looked pretty panicky and uncertain compared to the rest. Seems like a good bunch of lads overall.

Forgot Everton paid £8m to £11m for Lookman. Time will tell but looked a decent player. The other lad only cost them £1.5m, which seems like it could be handy business.

*And Dowell, but I literally forgot he was on the pitch.

With Spurs transfers in mind I'd like us to try sign Josh Sargent from the US.
Won the silver boot despite US not going all the way, and he's just 17 a freebie as he's not pro.
Very talented, chased by Bundesliga sides I believe (Werder Bremen etc.)

Also wouldn't mind if Klinsmann's son is invited to join us for the pre season tour.
Would be practical, and good for him as a favor to his dad.
Agree, he's going to be a top player.

That lad who came on as sub for Venezuela was a bit handy. Plays in Chile, and no doubt the likes of Barca and Real already have an eye on him, but seems sort of player we should be looking at.

Onomah looked comfortably one of the best on the pitch. Would like to see him possibly used more in that position next season.

If we're talking about signings, i totally agree with the Josh Sargent shouts, he looks like he'll be a great player. And cheap too.

If we can't get Lopez permanently then I wouldn't mind splashing a bit of cash on Woodman as Lloris long term replacement.

Jamie Redknapp: Ross Barkley should be in England squad due to lack of quality

(Seen on SKY sports.com, a bit of an unfortunate headline if you read it quickly, as I did!) :)

I honestly can say I have never seen an England team play 6 defenders. Anyone?

Trippier starts. How many players have we provided for England now?

Woodward, Walden, Clay, Grimsdell, Smith, Bliss, Dimmock, Seed, Hartley, Osborne

Hunt, Rowe, Hall, Alsford, Sproston, Ditchburn, Ramsey, Baily, Medley, Nicholson

Willis, Robb, Clarke, Brooks, Smith, Greaves, Norman, Henry, Mulllery, Knowles

Peters, Coates, Chivers, Hoddle, Clemence, Perryman, Mabbutt, Roberts, Stevens, Waddle

Allen, Hodge, Fenwick, Gascoigne, Lineker, Stewart, Sheringham, Anderton, Barmby, Campbell

Walker, Ferdinand, Sherwood, King, Defoe, Gardner, Robinson, Carrick, Jenas, Lennon

Bent, Woodgate, Bentley, Crouch, Huddlestone, Dawson, Parker, Walker, Livermore, Caulker

Townsend, Kane, Mason, Dele, Dier, Rose, Trippier

By my reckoning, that's 77, which is, of course, more than any other club have ever provided to England.

It's just the frogs wanting to say thanks for English fans singing their national anthem after the Paris attacks.

Easier for us to be fair, their anthem is fucking class. Ours is utter shit.

Does anyone else turn their volume up to the highest it can go when there's a minute's silence just to see if they can hear anyone?

Yes you do, you liars!
