He is southgate favourite of favs, he could be on a 3 night bender, sleep in the pre-match team talk , vomit in the tunnel before kickoff and Southgate would still give him 90 mins

have we ever seen a grass cutter hit the man in the floor? I appreciate it takes away the option but it also takes a defender out of the action immediately after the kick.

He'll get sharpness in terms of getting a run around / general fitness, but not ball play / touches, playing for this Eng team
