I do sometimes wonder - is he that good and that's why he plays for Madrid, or is playing for Madrid what's taken Bellingham to another level?

He's smart and has the bills paid, that's for sure.

Bellingham is just obscenely good. This might sound hyperbolic but he's the closest player to Zidane I've seen, big, strong, skillful, elegant, technical - basically the perfect midfielder and 20 years old. Mental.

Bellingham is already one of the best players in the world and he’s only just turned 20. Incredible talent — both in terms of skill and mentality. A leader.

England crusing at half time 2-0

How can we make it more of a game.... let's bring in Maguire! Scores an OG
England take 2-0 lead again. Subs of Kane and puts Maguire captain.

Maguire only reason the game got interesting in the second half! 😂

Is he trolling England or Scotland.... or both!

didnt know he was injured, Even so, why not bring Tomori on?

Because Southgate feels responsible for giving that road sign another chance to find his form. tbf, I can see the logic - it is only a friendly, there's nothing riding on this more than bragging rights, but it was the wrong call imo. Dude's got as much clout to be in that squad as Dier, in fact, the lack of game time was the reason Southgate gave for leaving Eric out...

very odd.

Honestly the guy is a walking joke, so so so funny. On a human level you empathise and get overwhelmed putting yourself in his shoes and thinking about how he might be feeling… but the funniness just trumps it for me. The own goal was just perfect 😂

Maguire slows the game down so much. He always seems to wait for someone to close him down before making a pass. Stops woth the ball, waits for the press and then passes sideways.....

the fact it is a friendly is the time to play new blood surely. CB is clearly our weakest point in the team, but he wont move on from Maguire, even if Man utd have

yep, not the best player or leader on the pitch, even with Kane off. He is a def started in the Euos isnt he

He's nailed on to start at the euros. He can not play a single more minute throughout the whole season and Southgate will still start him.
