Bellingham is just obscenely good. This might sound hyperbolic but he's the closest player to Zidane I've seen, big, strong, skillful, elegant, technical - basically the perfect midfielder and 20 years old. Mental.

Because Southgate feels responsible for giving that road sign another chance to find his form. tbf, I can see the logic - it is only a friendly, there's nothing riding on this more than bragging rights, but it was the wrong call imo. Dude's got as much clout to be in that squad as Dier, in fact, the lack of game time was the reason Southgate gave for leaving Eric out...

Honestly the guy is a walking joke, so so so funny. On a human level you empathise and get overwhelmed putting yourself in his shoes and thinking about how he might be feeling… but the funniness just trumps it for me. The own goal was just perfect

the fact it is a friendly is the time to play new blood surely. CB is clearly our weakest point in the team, but he wont move on from Maguire, even if Man utd have
