I live in Hamburg. Amazon and Netflix and all the other pure streaming sites followed the new EU rules that kicked in a couple of months ago. BBC, ITV, C4 didn't and as far as I know broadcasters who stream stuff online don't have to.

It would be nice for me if they did, but they don't. As I said, even with a VPN BBC will spot it and block most of the time.

You have to have a subscription that was taken out in the UK and THEN phsyically travel from the UK to Hamburg for it to kick in (even then, it's temporary). As for VPNs, with the BBC you just quickly change server on NordVPN and it works again. Takes a few seconds. I've been watching BBC streams since the world cup started via VPN. When it does block it all you do is chose a new server or click the UK icon on NordVPN and it works again. NordVPN is good because there are 1000s of servers rather than just one.

Apparantly, so I've been told, that fat cheating **** Maradonna is being paid £10,000 a day from FIFA to be at the WC as an Ambassador.
Doing them proud so far ain't he :cautious:

Just seen a few interviews on sky from the Swedish players. They are definitely trying to build themselves up as the underdog and attempting to heap the pressure on England. Like the players need more pressure, I think they know all about expectations, it’s what weighs on their shoulders more than anything. Although I get the feeling Southgate is doing his best to address this.

Telegraph reporting Dier could replace Alli for the next match. I fucking hope not.

The only way I could see this being the case is if Southgate plans to have Henderson do a but more of the attacking duties that Alli normally does, whilst Dier justs sits back to cover. Sweden seem to be allergic to possession and play purely on the counter. Perhaps he feels Dier sitting back to cover will help against the counter attack. Not sure if he's mobile enough though.

That’s exactly what they said is the plan just now on talkSPORT, Dier to play the Henderson role and Henderson to push forward into the Alli role, not convinced by that at all tbh but I’ll trust Southgate (n)

Well that would 100% play into sweden’s Hands. We need to score a goal from one of our fast attacks. Do that and we will probably win but if we don’t score in the first half an hour we will once again struggle.

I suspect more penalty shootout is on the way.
