Agree that we definitely don't want an Everton win. Leiceste will walk over them in that case.
Everton don't have anything to play for against Leicester either way. Would prefer seeing a hungry United to... Ah damn.

Great second half. Lukaku ought to be ashamed with himself with how bad he was.

Good result for us. No ET, United buzzing, fans onside next week for Leicester.

No final for everton to have in the back of their minds when they play L'ster either and Martinez will want to finish as strong as possible now and make some sort of statement.

Agree. And at the same time if and it's a big IF Everton show up against Leicester saw more than enough to remind me they've got some very good players there who are capable of atleast a point

The final is a fortnight after Everton play Leicester. If anything it'll be their final game against Norwich where they'd have a potential final in mind. Not trying enough in a league game isn't going to get them picked for the final.

I see the sense in that but personally if I was someone like John Stones/ Ross Barkley who was one of the first names on the team sheet I'd try my damnest not to get injured before that final, because I know I'll be in the final no matter how badly I play before then.

Good result anyway, hopefully this gees them up to at least finish strong in the league.

Van Gaal even when you win you are still a bad sport, really glad we did not get him at the Lane.

LVG is actually mental. How can your team score a last minute winner at wembley and you just stand there moaning.

Fosu-Mensah got the ball, but he got the man first.

The contact before he wins the ball was absolutely minimal.

I love how despite Everton playing better and scoring after the penalty miss, the BBC are making out as if that was what won Man Utd the game so they can wank over De Gea even more than usual.
