these outs being agreed so quickly we must either we have another couple in the pipeline or some of the u23's like John, White and Markanday are going to get some game time.... oh wait

Loved Dele and Dier when the team first started to gel. Amazing chemistry back in those days and sorry to see him leave as much as it the right thing to do. Have to say that the amount of work being completed on the final day is impressive. May have to do a second donation.

(and as a nod to @Aphex, i'm thinking that there are many of us that appreciate the balance in your posts now and not the earlier ones by Aphex's brother)

Dele supposedly being agreed with this many hours left does give me with a bit of renewed hope at a late signing.
We've only got 4 first team CMs now (Bentancur, Winks, Hojbjerg and Skippy) which you could argue is OK if we're playing 343 but it's a bit short for 352. I can't see a RWB coming unless we shift Doherty.

Fuck man. Im emotional. This is a gut punch. Thought I was ready. He needed to go. But he was integral for awhile for us. So good for so long. Thank you, Dele.
Grow up son

Edit: its a fucking joke guys come on me and yankspurs are mates ffs lol

Wow if true then we are really smashing the outgoings! Makes you wonder if this is because Conte & FP are much more aligned on who they want to move on and who to keep compared to previous managers and are a lot more ruthless about making that clear and/or are also a lot more open to selling at lower prices and taking loan deals etc as pre-Paratici we were painfully slow at moving players on.

Levy always said its so hard to move them on due to lack of interest and the player needing to want to go to the interested club etc but I think the truth lies a little more in that Levy was driving too hard a bargain and was seeing it too much from a business and money perspective players being assets rather than Paratici & Conte who balance out the football and financial benefits of any moves based on the overall effect on the team/squad performance and balance etc.

If we end up loaning or selling all of: Gil, GLC, Ndombele, Dele + maybe Rodon this window then that just says everything to me and gives me even more hope and belief that Paratici & Conte combination will be very successful in doing a fast and strong re-build.

Very very positive news this and surely would mean we will be bringing at least 1 more in today you would've thought.

This little ‘clear out’ and two in is great. A third: awesome. Either way, to offload 3 non-regulars, plus bit-part Gil in his first window is great work from contes corner..

One of fabio’s biggest criticisms has been his inability to shift deadwood

He’s now shifted two of our 3 record signings on massive wages and a positionless dele that no club wanted on massive wages.

IN JANUARY.

Have to say, I’m impressed.

I think this squad refresh will do wonders for the dressing room to be honest. No big name/big money players moping around. Everyone pulling in the same direction. Good conditions for Conte to work in. Come on Fab just get one more quality addition in now to top it off!

Completely agree. And there will be games where Conte will go with 3 of them.

Well, thats front 4 of our Morecambe XI (Ndombele, Dele, Gil, Lo Celso) started on 9th Jan is out. Probably we may see Gil again
And If we see the rest of that XI, atleast another 4 could go in the summer.
Conte has done a real purging here.
