So it's the Os - In between our three big TV friendlies (I still can't get over how a friendly v Norwich ended up on TV and there was still a full house too- the interest in spurs is simply enormous - it's absolutely fantastic times for the club as far as spectating figures go)

I would have preferred to see plenty of ressies playing tonight - but they played yesterday v Shots

It doesn't make much sense to me for a player like Gunter to be playing three 90 mins in the space of five days - but that's what could happen (hopefully - he gets at at least a 45 min break - but even so)

still, I'm sure the clubs fitness plans are well in order - as ever I just have to trust the '4 amigos' and their posse -

will Berbs play tonight ..........

King, Modric and Berbatov have played no more than 90 minutes pre-season so they'll be in for some time I imagine. If Hutton's fit, he'll need a run out. I'd also like to see Alnwick in goal for some valuable time behind our notorious defence.

Would love to see Bale again, he was desperatly poor the the other night, and looks in need of some real game time.

Somehow I get the feeling the Ramos likes BAO and my bet is he will start first game of the season.

Hi PT - my comments re Gunter were very much based on hutton's unavailability (and it's quite instructive to look back at the Hutton injured thread and see various people informing us it definitely was David Hutton injured -despite clearly not knowing the facts of the situation)

all the ITK points to the fact that Alan will take no part in any of this week's friendlies - but time will tell etc

Yep - I'd like to see both alnwick and Janson get a run out - but is alnwick fit - i'm not sure

Yep the much vaunted back 4 of Hutton Woody King and Bale is unlikely to materialise v Boro despite the myriad of team sheets posted on here to the contrary

Bale looked well off the pace - and King didn't look too good either

both will need to step up a lot to be playing v Boro - and it seems Hutton may miss the game too

Is there any news on where Woodgate was? I guess we will know a little more tonight, but Gunter and BAO look certs for me opening day.

Strange really, I think we'll see a very similar team to Monday. Hopefully we see a lot more of Assou-Ekotto and Lennon, as they both had brilliant second halves against Norwich. I think Bent, Jenas, Gunter, Zokora and Gomes will probably be rested as they all played 90 on Monday.

I'm sure it will be mostly reserve players tonight, with the Celtic game coming on friday taken that much more serious. I wonder if we'll play the same formation tonight. Maybe with Berbatov up top as Pekhart played last night and Bent played the full 90 monday. I guess Dawson will start as he came early on monday. It will be interesting to see if Malbranque starts aswell. And i expect Taarabt to start too.

AGAIN we are left 'grasping at straws' re several injury worries...Hutton being most of all...Is he 'suffering', is he fit....where is Woody....is Berby going to appear.....TOO many bloody imponderables for my liking! It appears that the FLATNESS of the World is the ONLY definite fact.....or is it really FLAT? COYS!

I'm going tonight too, my old man works with an O's season ticket holder, so i'm in the home section but i don't mind, it's a friendly and it's not like it'll be the first time i've been to Brisbane Rd as a home fan

Wouldn't mind the following:

Gomes

Gunter King Dervitte Assou-Ekotto

Jenas Huddlestone Bale

Lennon Modric

Bent

Resting Gio as he's played a lot, giving Bale, King and Modric another run to get fit and Letting Bent & Assou-Ekotto get a good run as both have been impressive from reports.
