Gallas was a giant today, Bale was his usual brilliant self but Gallas was MOTM by a country mile, well done that man and welcome to THFC

Making Gallas captain today was a stroke of genius by Harry. He knew Gallas had something to prove and that he would get a rough reception by the Arse fans so put the hammer firmly in Gallas's hand and he used it well. A captain leads by example and with Gallas being captain today left him no choice but to do so even when the pressure was on.

My only concern is winning, so it doesn't matter where a player previously played as long as he does it on the pitch.
He wears a Spurs shit he is a YID period!!!

To be fair though, none of those comments say they think he is a shit footballer and wouldn't improve the team/squad.

Although, I was certainly in favour of such a move, I always was.

According to what criteria is Gallas a c***?

Because from what I've seen he's probably got more character and desire to win than anyone else in our squad. Not to mention he's still an excellent footballer.

Is it just because he played for Arsenal?

What more does the bloke have to do?

So he played for Arsenal, so what? He's not exactly Ray Parlour or Tony Adams is he?

The bloke put in a performance today that even King wouldn't have been able to better, especially going on the horror show he put in at the Emirates last season, but is that in someway preferable because he's a yid?

Anyone could wear a Spurs shirt. And on top he gets paid more per week than most of us get paid in a year. That does not make him a yid.

That performance was pure leadership. One point in the 1st half he ran through their entire team. Whether he was a yid or not he proved he hates the goons and that to me ensures I will sing his name. Great performance today even when injured he carried on

I suppose at least I don't have to suck Wenger's cock now.

Fair play. A true captain's performance today. Ever since he signed I've been behind him. I just wasn't up for signing him at the time. No comment on his quality. Mainly that I thought he would cause disharmony in the dressing room.

It's great to be proved wrong. I do want to stress that I've forever been behind him as soon as it was announced that he had signed. I'm not a boo boy. Nor will I ever be.

I dont know why everyones so upset about Gallas playing for us just because of loyalties etc.... Gallas is the same as all or most footballers around that have no idea what loyalty means, however because he previously played for Chelsea & Arsenal that is a good thing - he has no loyalty for them at ! So my message to all you Anti-Gallas fans is simple "Get Over It".

And even though he played well today and a couple of other matches, he is not an excellent footballer. Cost us two points last week for instance

Not sure why ppl seem to think only a couple of people were "right" about gallas - from what I recall he received alot of support when he joined.

Spurs shirt, spurs player. Love the idea of a huge cheer too. Interesting to see if the armband reverts to luka on Wednesday. If gallas is fit for Wednesday it would be harsh for him to lose it.

Steady on! Gallas played superbly today, and may have matched King at his majestic best. The difference is King makes it look easy.

Thats your opinion and I respect that but come on!! Ok quick question, would you classify BAE as a yid?

...and does it consistently (well..when he plays). King is in a different league to the vast majority of defenders in the world.

Unnecessary comparisons aside, Gallas was terrific today, and I'm happy to say that I don't have anything to apologise for..having gone on record as being pleased about us signing him.

It will be interesting to see what happens when King, Dawson, Gallas, Kaboul and possibly Woodgate are all fit. Personally, despite their heroics today, I'd go with King and Dawson if they are fully fit.

Having said that, the future is definitely Dawson and Kaboul.

He was outstanding today! I still doubt you will ever his name sung at the lane but I hope this silences the people who still boo him when his name is announced in the team line up
