Thats your opinion and I respect that but come on!! Ok quick question, would you classify BAE as a yid?

Not really. BAE dont care about Spurs.

Yids are the people who live and die for Tottenham. They are the ones who stand next to me in Grimsby on a rainy tuesday night, or even the ones who are deeply passionate about Tottenham all over the world.

The best thing about today as far as Gallas was concerned (other than of course us beating the scum on their own turf) was not his superb performance, his great leadership or his excellent defending - it was the way he, and we, defiantly wiped the smug grin off that little unsporting twat Nasri's horrid face :-D

I was thrilled to see Gallas lead us out at his old haunt, and I genuinely believe he is 100% Tottenham. At Arsenal he was 100% Arsenal, and at Chelski he was 100% blue. That's just the kind of guy he is, and it's what we all expected from him - he's passionate about whatever cause he's playing for, and that's why he famously sulked on the pitch when Arsenal showed themselves up against Birmingham.

Fair play to him, he's behind us 100% as long as he wears the shirt - let's get behind him in return.

He won me over today I hope he is fit for Wednesday.

I have never seen such a flawless performance from a spurs centre back since woody in the carling cup final....

Let's hope he can keep going now...

great post and spot on
gallas was fantastic today and our best player by a mile
lets back him and stop giving him grief because he played for the scum and the chavs in the past , what matters is now and right now he is a spurs player and been a major part of us beating inter milan and now the scum in there own backyard :)

Look i'm pretty sure many of us that regard ourselves as so called 'Yids' arent really Jewish !!! Are you that deluded ??

I'll put this down to you not understanding what I meant by "yid"
It was meant as someone who plays or supports Spurs nothing to do with being Jewish and yes I am deluded, I thought all Spurs fans were!

Not really. BAE dont care about Spurs.

Fair enough you've backed up your original statement and I respect your opinion. We all can't agree on the same thing

In defence of my post back in May; you'll find it's about the second or third post of that particular thread - I would stand by its statement today, knowing how instrumental the guy was when we won our first three points against the Pikeys since '93.

I said at the time in another similar thread that Gallas's profile made him a winner who didn't suffer fools gladly, hence his hissy fits as Captain of the Gooners on occasions such as the Birmingham implosion.

In hindsight, Gallas is as an important signing for Tottenham as VdV has been this season to date.

He was unfit when he arrived, having missed a lot of our pre-season and he also had to slot in to the hierarchy of the changing room.

His strength in character has served impeccably so far and it is plain to see he is a winner. Kaboul has benefited from playing alongside to such an extent that he has got a call up to the French National squad and earnt a place on the bench against England.

I stand by my statement because of Gallas's past histrionics being acidic to team spirit. However I learnt yesterday that his very public spat with Nasri was as a consequence of calling him out for taking Henry's seat on the player's coach and not giving it up after being told to do so. The two have not spoken since which tells me a lot about the man a more about another Arsenal big shot which a tiny personality.

Finally I am on record as being pleased that Harry signed Gallas as we fell foul of central defending injury and after getting up to speed again, the chap has been immense the last few games.

I won't be so quick again to judge the man and not the player.
