Great work Happy Spur.

I hate to go all Blackadder with Samuel Johnson's dictionary...but surely you could have included Spursking as our resident African player ITK???

Nah, only joking. Good work!

I wasn't around in 2004, but I did look. Most of this site didn't really roll out until 2005. I think it was just Rob and a select few during development during most of Arnesen's slew of signings in 04. So I can't vouch for Arnesen's relationship to FTF. If you can find links, cool.

I was in oz at the time and could only get on here occasionally but I think we signed Sean Davis and a couple others on a Friday.

Good work though with this thread it's a very good read

I've done some digging and according to Wiki it seems only Fulop and Davis were signed on Fridays that summer but Mendes was down as the day before Davis so it's possible they were announced together. Taino and Routledge were signed on Friday 1st of July 2005 but it seems Arnesen was on gardening leave from early June

Good work mate. Great read.

Oh, and as has already been said, Fun Time Friday refers to Arnesen (aka Fun Time Franky) who made a habit if signing what seemed like most of his signings on a Friday. (Not sure how true this was). Also known as Franky Fridays.
