So here we go with a brand new thread.

While we're being a LOT more chilled about certain things in here, that doesn't mean there isn't a tipping point. I noticed that some of you aren't as enamoured with this more relaxed approach as you were to begin with and would like to return to the good old days which made the Spanish inquisition look like a small session with a tickling stick. I'm not sure what we can do really. As we know, you can't keep everyone happy.

Anyway, if you like to indulge in the off topic stuff, try and put some thought and self restraint into this. It might help.

We had ITK saying that Conte wanted Traore in before the NLD. Looks like that’s easier to satisfy now. THAT’S USING YOUR NOGGIN DANIEL.

I thought Jorge Mendes was a top bloke?

I can understand that Mendes being an arsehole would sour us. But if Traore is Conte's first choice why should it halt negotiations?

Other teams manage to buy/sell his players just fine.

The problem is his involvement in Wolves. Even if he isn’t the agent of the player I’m sure he will be trying to get his cut

Honestly don't see Traore being Conte's first choice for the rwb. Club choice or just fits the finance but given the choice I feel ANY manager would take a lamptey over him even if extra 30mil. A 20mil gamble that he may replicate Moses over an established rb/rwb just doesn't fit Conte. I really wouldn't be upset if Traore doesn't happen tbf

AWB being a sound defender and poor attacker seems such a misfit for the profile of RWB we're supposedly looking at. Can't imagine people who don't like watching Royal's attacking output will feel at all better seeing AWB
