I might be wrong but I dont think we were ever linked with Traore until Nuno essentially demanded him last summer. Maybe when he left Boro 5 years ago?

Cos he steals others info and passes it off as his own, even if it puts others sources at risk. To quote a&c "Gyid or Gards, he's got absolutely no links to the club and he's not an ITK. And we don't want his stuff on here."

Why isnt Gards allowed?

Just to make it really clear on Gards, he was taking info given in confidence by other ITKs on here, passing it off as his own info and sending it around his mates and others (including journos, etc) on their little WhatsApp group in order to try and get more info from them (which he'd then pass off to us as his own). Whether he ever had any access to any info or if it was all a con the whole time we don't know for sure but he put people's sources (and their jobs, etc) at risk and was clear that he didn't care. Hence we got rid of him from here.

There were a few others on here who were in those conversations and playing similar games with passing off info as their own when it was all just coming from a WhatsApp group they'd blagged their way into. I don't know specifically about George (I'm sure I read he worked as a pilot for the club but no idea if that's just a twitter rumour) but he got caught up in all of that too.

Lingard is such a Conte signing.

Most people would turn their noses up, but he actually turns out to be quite good.

He's cheap, works hard, and is home-grown.

I see no downsides.

Plus it would hurt Spammer feelings

Definite merit in going for Lingard, especially on a free. We need reinforcements now however and whilst he would help with our HG issues he's not going to be helping our ageing attack. Son, Kane and Moura are all pushing 30 and Bergwijn is on his way out.

We all know its a no brainer Spurs over West Ham but given his loan, I'd be surprised if he didnt pick West Ham given how he was loved and will goin as one of the main men, guaranteed starter?
