really hope we get some good players in that fit. Arsenal apparently are going to spend a big fee on a huge talent in Murdyk, and by all accounts in for felix. They really are recruiting excellently if they get them in.
It's very easy to make statements like this but in reality both players are gambles. Murdyk looks great, but the Ukrainian league is very far away in quality from the PL right now. He may turn out to be excellent or it may be that he's a big fish in a little pond and struggles to adapt in a team that has plenty of quality competition for his place in the staring 11. Felix is more certain in terms of what he will bring, but for the price he needs to be starting every single game and getting Kane levels of goals for him to be seen as a success. Not sure how kindly Jesus is going to take to this either when he's back from injury as surely City's bench is a better place to be than Arsenal's.

Mudryk has been performing in the CL too and I wish we were after him. Huge talent that will elevate Arsenal significantly.
Same attitudes dismissed KK who is now at Napoli.

Exactly, hes the exact talent i would be after who suits our way of playing and its all based on his champs league games.

Their first 11 is clearly excellent so they now need to build their 22 man squad and signing talents like Murdyk go along way to doing that.

We need succession planning for Son too, so a Murdyk would be perfect.

Im more interested in how they keep finding money every window to buy these players. I know we are paying the price for Tanguy and GLC flopping, but they spent 72m on Pepe at about the same time.

Quite depressing how in 6 months their outlook has become quite rosy, whilst ours is looking worrying (no money, a chairman that thinks he knows best, players we still can't shift and Kane and Son declining).

I'm from LA where their owner owns the Rams, trust me, they will spend over and over and over until it's right. It's what they did here. Same with Boehly and Chelsea. The dodgers have the highest payroll in the league and they still continue to spend, he doesn't care about going over the luxury tax and pays a shit ton out of pocket to spend

How is our outlook worrying?

I’m ever the optimist, but I think even a couple of decent-to-good windows, a solid finish to the season (Top 4) and a Conte contract renewal and I think we are most definitely on the right path and in better shape than any time I’ve supported the club. All of those things don’t seem like crazy-tall orders. We’ve heard similar on Levy and if he’s stepping back or not, if he’s in the way or not, and if it’s working against us or not before. It seems to change depending on the week and I’m kind of desensitized to it now, and I think it’ll always be that way so long as he’s here.

They don’t. It’s the Yankees.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Kroenke owns the Nuggets (basketball), the Avalanche(ice hockey) and the Colorado Rapids(real football) here in Denver. While the later 2 have won championships under him he does not invest huge sums of money into the teams. He invests only enough so they will be at least in contention to be in the post season play offs knowing that is enough to keep the fans filling his arenas. He started off pretty much with that plan when he first bought Arsenal but soon realized that doesn’t work here as there is no closed league and the money is in qualifying for the CL not just being in contention to qualify.

Kane declining?! He's been brilliant for us this season and had a very strong World Cup.

And....

We do have money, just not copious amounts of it. We will sign players in Jan and continue to strengthen.

With 13 goals and 4 assists, contract up in the Summer, and some links with us - I really like the look of Marcus Thuram. Obviously the points against him would be it seems he's more of an out and out striker or plays off the left, but nonetheless someone who's physical, direct and can change games. For some reason I picture him and Richarlison playing well together in a 2 ST system where we want to rest Kane/Son, which will never happen lol
