A friend of a friend bumped into some pissed bloke last night, who claimed to be one of Spurs' top scouts. Said we're signing Declan Rice in January. No salt required - this guy was completely coherent, lucid and obviously legit. #WelcomeDeclan
I mean, he is 23 years old...
Until he's 24.

I think he had a good game against us over there but was completely ineffective at ours. I'll add to that he hasn't really changed from when he was here originally. We'd be stupid to take him back.
Well, he did score but I know what you mean.

don’t have a subscription but says Kudus wants a move in January

I believe I read quotes from that article through aggregators that he prefers a destination where he can play in the midfield. He's played everywhere from CM - CAM - ST - False 9 - Winger so it sounds like there's a position he wants to play over being played wherever.

I think he would be a great option for us to drop into a midfield 3 if Kulusevski isn't playing.

Maddison is my number 1 choice here as it's such a no brainer deal but Kudus wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.

I can’t remember a time where the club altered transfer policy/targets due to an injury.

I don’t think it’s wise or realistic either to be honest.
I'm sure it's a factor.

It's obvious we are looking for another Kulusevski rotation and this injury to Richarlison may be the difference between bringing in January or waiting for a summer target.

it's not though. Top club sides would always beat top international sides as they train together day in day out and also if they have a shortage of talent in a position they can sign a player from anywhere in the world not have to wait 18 years for a kid to mature. Unfortunatley spurs struggle with that approach though ?
Which are the club sides that would beat Brazil, France, Argentina, Portugal?

Do you think Maddison is an option that can play in the front three? I feel like when looking at his data (screenshot below) that he can just based on the fact that he plays as an AM/WF for his club. Also that he could fit into a central midfield 3. However I've seen it argued to the death on here and Twitter that he might not provide in the same areas as Kulu and since he's not left footed he wouldn't fit as Conte likes inverted 10s.

Some old bloke just ripped him to shreds.... we're back in the game ??

Joking aside, remember what Messi did to peak Jan and Toby at Wembley? Messi sis a different gravy altogether!

... but if it puts other teams off buying Gvardiol then all the better!

Yeah I doubt being cut apart by Messi as a 20 year old prevents anyone from buying him. Messi is just on another planet has made pretty much every single cb in the game look stupid at one point in time.

really hope we get some good players in that fit. Arsenal apparently are going to spend a big fee on a huge talent in Murdyk, and by all accounts in for felix. They really are recruiting excellently if they get them in.
