Muani is interesting too, 5 goals and 10 assists across 15 games in the Bundesliga, 2 CL goals and a WC goal to boot. Only 24, and he can play across the front three.

Had honestly never heard of the guy before Wednesday. Was certainly very impressive on Sunday. Surprising with those Bundesliga stats as well that he’s not on bigger radars.

I won’t pretend to know anymore than you do, but I’m assuming he will be on a few radars now. Just needs to add a bit of bulk to that frame but the raw ingredients are there. Similar to our Sarr.

Unfortunate thing is that they just bought him this Summer. Wonder if they would be willing to sell already.

My main criteria for new players is that they are good. Next up on this list of requisite attributes is they don’t shit themselves in possession. 3rd on that list is Conte will play them and not call them a “club signing.” All the other shit I don’t care about. Even if that means we sign 5 goalkeepers that can play the ball out from the back.

My main criterion for new players is that their name translates as Peter Spliff from the original Spanish.

But that's why I'm sat here typing bollocks, and not our chief scout.

We need to stop discussing the possibility of a Porro transfer or it won’t happen. Karma and all that.

Have we had any decent links to players recently, I need a distraction!

Haven't seen much over the World Cup though.

Bentancur and Kulu came out of nowhere though didn't they?! ??

Scuttlebutt suggests that all is unwell behind the scenes. So, who knows how this will impact our transfers. Presumably, not well.

everyone has a price. This feels like one of those weird ones where timing is off. They just bought and we don't offer quite enough to get him. explodes end of this year/early next year and boom off to a PSG or Bayern

That’s why you pay the release clause now. If we dither, we lose out to the bigger clubs come the summer.

Does he even have one? If so what is it and is he really the priority over an RW or RWB?

£38m and he's not going cheaper which I saw some article about us trying to do. City get 30%

Sporting don't want this transfer to happen, it's really nothing to negotiate.

Yeah but we have a buy out clause on edwards which we could use to lower the price I would imagine and that way it would mean city don’t get 30% on that money

I thought we were talking about Muani? If not then I apologize as I seem to have misunderstood.

I must have missed something at the World Cup with regards to Muani. Really didn’t look like anything that special to me I’m not gonna lie. Looked decent but not one we should be clamouring to pay the money for before he goes to a giant, I’d be surprised if that happens. The fact he can play RW and ST makes him an interesting one for us though as that would be very useful for our squad makeup

He just joined this summer on a free transfer. Seems like a late bloomer.
