Not seen too much of Porro but against us this season and from his highlights, looks much better technically than an option like Dumfries imo.

Not really watched him enough to judge whether he has the physicality (not only in terms of defending but also having the physical attributes to take on opposition further up the field) but glad to see we are looking to move on from Royal and Doherty. Bringing in Porro while shifting Royal and Doherty would be a great piece of business.

I’d be really happy with Porro and Spence long term. Would be a big upgrade on the RWB position currently and offer a much better range of skills.

I would like that, or something like Porro and Neves, who is maybe a little more robust and ideal for Conte's vision. I still really feel like the passing capability in that midfield has to come up a notch and that with a capable RWB would really transform us IMO and see us push well for our season targets. Still unsure as to whether a Maddison/Neves type player is even sought after though.

Why? We signed Bentancur instead and have a full roster of CMs for how Conte wants to play. Or are we writing off Bissouma and Skipp? I'd much rather we focused on RWB, CB and replacing Moura with proper back up for Kulusevski.

What he costs and what we actually have to pay out immediately are two different things.
Even if a release clause is involved there are ways and means, just like Arsenal did with Partey, they loaned the whole lot then paid the lender over 3/4 years.
