ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca.

wGqg5r8illYqQAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==

Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense!

Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a poster defending a Tottenham player, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclomation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests

This reaction illustrates why England are 'where they are' in world footballing terms. Kaboul did not exactly 'set the world onfire' when he arrived at WHL...but that was due to circumstances beyong his control? I saw him in a pre-season game, back in 2009, with Bale, and he looked ideal for what we needed....but that did not work out! He is now, however, a more polished player and his movement and skill will benefit us in many ways...in the immediate term.
Let's just see where we are, in 2012...after a momentus 2011-2012? COYS!

some very good comments in the big fellas defenc which i have to say are veryu persuasive,

it seems to me that i have been persuaded that he is worth keeping as a center back but probably not as a starter

wow i cant believe i am reading a thread about some people not liking kaboul. Yes he was a bit rubbish when first here but then so was half our team and he had to learn the english style of football. SInce his return from portsmouth he has been brilliant and has been very solid for us in the CB position and when called upon to play at RB has been very good and has had some excellent games. The other thing he provides playing at right back as well then is also a player who can cover the CB in a match in case of any problems plus he provides some good height advantage when it comes to corners .

I would have him over Dawson every day of the week.

I would too. Every day.

Apart from Match days.

And week days.

And weekends.

I would like to see him and Daws play together a bit next season to start building an understanding.

Chewie doesn't live on Endor. Never has, never will. Ewoks, despite popular belief, are not related to the Wookiee race.

Chewbacca left his home planet of Kashyyyk as a slave to the Imperial forces and was held in captivity until Han Solo rescued him. With this selfless act of bravery and kindness (not intentional), Han earned himself a Wookiee "life debt", whereby Chewbacca was bound to follow Han and protect him, even at the cost of his own life, as a sign of gratitude. It's a Wookiee tradition and, years later, when Han's son Anakin was forced to goose the throttle of the Falcon and leave Chewie to die on Sernpidal so hundreds of evacuees could be saved, that life debt was taken up, as tradition states, by Chewies sons, Lowbacca and Lumpawaroo (Lowie being already a close friend and trusted ally of Hans daughter, Jaina, through their time with Rogue Squadron. Lumpy was a lot like his mother).

Sooo, Kaboom's good, eh?

The more i think about it, the more i draw comparisons between Chewie living on Endor and BO living in KL

Maybe it's the story of the kid in a lift who was scared by our resident giant into peeing his pants, who knows...

And to think, only yesterday there was a vibrant thread on how it winds some posters up when a thread is dragged off topic

Ah, however it comes, i expect it was Stoofs fault.

I'm not going to trawl this thread but needless to say any thread that advocates the selling of what I deem our CB for many years to come is a ludicrous notion so I will leave it at that.

How long do you think it would take Kaboul to build up an understanding of the existential complexity that is Dawson ?

I slide on my arse, therefore I am.

I think if they train together and play a few times it wouldn't be a problem. Kabould would have to learn to stop ducking out of headers (something that Dawson doesn't do). Dawson could maybe teach Kaboul to be a bit less of a coward when in a defensive wall. In return Kaboul could give Dawson a different option to the hoof that happens too much (excluding when Dawson has the Hudd to pass to).

I quite like what you have done there. By making it seem that Dawson offers nothing but slide tackles you have made yourself look like the class joker. It's funny. Well done.

It's OK you will get there. Keep trying! I see you Wumming in a few threads recently and a few people are biting. It's a fun way to pass time isn't it.
