Seems to be a trend - lose to Tottenham, get fired!

I guess teams have conditioned themselves that it's ok to lose to powerhouses like City, Pool, etc. But losing to us is a big no-no.

Not sure this is a good move for them, Cooper wasn't actually doing badly, just a run of poor results. No reflection on Nuno, I just think that there's three teams - at least - who are less likely to stay up than them and I didn't hear any Forest fans clamouring for him to go.

Time will tell, I guess. Good luck, Nuno.

This reminds me very much of the Bielsa sacking - you're binning a guy people love for someone you consider a safe pair of hands. When they were struggling, they had the love still there; when they struggle under Nuno, it'll turn toxic very quickly. Bad move.

EDIT: It's also incredibly shitty to have this pan out so publicly. Forest haven't even announced it yet. 11/4 on them going down looking pretty good right now.

I don't agree with Forest going for Nuno but their owner won't be looking at his time at us when making that decision, he'll be looking at the Nuno who had Wolves finishing 7th twice and hoping that's what he's getting.

I still think their revolving door player recruitment is a much bigger obstacle for them than having Cooper as manager would be.

I see the same in NBA and NHL. Coaches get recycled there all the time. So annoying.
