With Potter to Chelsea seeming to be inevitable now, who do we think lands at Brighton?

Will be a good job for the right coach.

It's very easy for me sat here to say as I don't know the money involved, but I would much rather stay at Brighton and continue the project than go to Chelsea. Of course the money will be more and can manage in the Champions League, but even if Brighton finish mid-table this season he will still be attractive to big teams - I guess at the end of the season there may not be any teams looking.

I think if Potter has ambitions to manage at the highest level, he can't afford to turn down the job.
Yes the conditions are less than ideal but football moves quickly, today's Graham Potter could be tomorrow's Chris Wilder, AVB, Phil Brown.

I think Potter is making a lot more out of Brighton than what we will see if he leaves. The next person will have a tough job there.

I have no doubt Brighton will regress, at least in the short term. But the right man will still be able to get a tune out of that squad and keep them well off relegation.

Is Bruno their former player who was with them up to the PL? No idea what his managerial chops are like.

Knutsen would be extremely interesting. He's caught lightning in a bottle at Bodø but even as a countryman of his I have no idea whether he could replicate that anywhere else.

Brenda needs a good long break before taking on another PL job. He looks burnt out to me.

Surprised Poch isn't on the list tbh.
A project club is ever there was one.
Maybe he's waiting for something behind closed doors?

Love to see Ange get a chance in the bigs. Done really well at Celtic.
Probably the only Aussie manager worthy of being there.

Edit: Not probably. Certainly!

Won’t be Bruno cos he’s just left with Potter. Can’t see Cooper or Rodgers, Ange makes sense but whether he’d leave a CL club is another matter. Nathan Jones is interesting but he’s already crashed and burned elsewhere - would make the most sense of those listed imo. Knowing Bloom though it’ll probably be hugely left field.

Bit worrying for Brighton, they’ve lost three first team squad players and now their manager.

Nathan Jones used to be a youth coach at Brighton, I'm guessing that's why he's getting linked

He hasn't been there for six years though so I'm thinking the good job he's done with Luton is a bigger reason why he's being linked than just having been at Brighton before.

He failed at Stoke but Stoke aren't a well run club these days.

In other words...

Nathan Jones, you've been gone too long...

Rumours that Sevilla are lining up Pochettino. Think it would be a good move for both parties.
