It's because under Poch's system, fullbacks play high up the pitch and are required to get back and defend. It requires a tremendous amount of effort and makes them susceptible to injuries.
I understand that part but so do Madrid, Barca, Juve etc. look at Liverpool too, I don’t see Robertson and ta getting rotated on a regular basis unless injured.

it was a shit show of a performance. Everyone in the ground could see it coming in the second half, but FFS calm down.

Its one game, extremely annoying, weekend ruined but even Fergie and Pep's teams shit the bed every now and then. The players, coaching staff and fans can throw things at the wall for 24 hours, then enough..........no more whining......forget about wolves and win the next game.

I’m sorry but you give José this team and I promise we don’t lose tofay and I also think we have more things in our trophy cabinets.

Poch is in danger of ruining his hard work and reputation here there’s a dark cloud coming for this club.

Maybe, but we also wouldn't be in the top 4 and 80% of the players wouldn't want to be here.

A fancy Tim Sherwood

We also just flat out didn't do it at first. Walker and Rose played damn near every game then the Walker transfer stuff started and Rose got hurt.

I see no reason why an Elite team would take Poch to be honest. He has obviously done well for us but to me he always comes up short. Why doesn't he demand better players in the transfer windows it's like he does not want the pressure of expectation.

To be fair to Poch he's already achieved what he was brought to the club for; get us into the CL on a regular basis and guide the team through the tumultuous time while the stadium is being built.

He's also added some great football to those achievements, so barring a complete melt-down or a REALLY acrimonious split from the club, I think he'll always be fondly remembered by the Spurs fans.

However, whether he goes on to become a 'title-winning' manager at our club, or another club, remains to be seen and results like the one today doesn't help his reputation.

Too many excuses from him and the fans
We all knew that some players that have played a lot of games would be tired and Poch who’s paid to fix and resolve these problems failed

In the second half he had many choices, KWP could’ve come on for a awful Trippier, Rose could’ve come on for a poor and tired Davies, Foyth could’ve come on and we could’ve match them with 3 at the back, Skipp could’ve come on we looked like we had no midfield

I’m tired of all these excuses, we were 1-0 up in the 70 min....
and when Alli came off we sank, he wasn’t the best on the ball but he won so many balls in midfield today

I don’t want to hear any excuses from Poch, he talks so much shit sometimes

Think tactically was poor from poch today. Exact same mistake as against arsenal. Which is not good as he hadn't learned. We were tired yes, maybe if not it would of been masked better. But poch got schooled today. Amazes me how poch can be so outstanding tactically on many occasions but get it so wrong in others.

We have lost a QUARTER of our games. That isn't now and again. That's a standard where you will NOT win the title and should be happy if you're in the top 4

This is exactly I can’t understand why he hasn’t worked out we can’t use trippier or Davies in the same back 4.

Back 5 yes 4 no trippier is not a back 4 player

Don't blame Poch. He's overachieving. His transfer budget has averaged £2m a window since he came in. With that investment Trippier is the quality we can afford.

True, every manager or team can make mistakes or have an off-day.

But those two managers you've listed have a cabinet full of trophies, so they obviously know how to 'game-manage' the most crucial games in a season.

Poch, on the other hand, has never won a trophy and is starting to get a reputation of failing to see critical games out; games where we're ahead, and/or against opposition that is 'inferior' to us.

You can say 'forget about it and move on', but what are we moving onto? We're moving onto the same again, season in and season out.

It's really frustrating!!

Lads, it don't have to be Mourinho. Jurgen Klopp is about to win the best league in the world with a team that was below us last season. It's investment. Your choice whether you want us to wait until our debts our paid and our revenue stable to try that, or get an Arab dictator in now. But those are the only ways. Little to do overall with the manager.

I agree that he doesn't have the money of the 'big-boys', but improvements can be made away from the transfer market and you don't need to spend a penny on said improvements; namely, tactics/game management.
