Still no clear footage/audio of what Dean said, only what Poch and the two coaches responded with (and they were pretty irate too). I wouldn't 100% believe what people say he said, only know it was enough to get an angry response from 3 fellows who are usually quite calm in the dugout before, during and after any game.

I'd bet that the FA interviewed all parties involved and would have a pretty good idea of what Dean said. There were enough people around that Dean couldn't weasel his way out of it with lies.

Wouldn't surprise me if Poch told the players what Dean said. Especially if the rumors that Dean stated that our title run was over. He could use that to further galvanize the team and reinforce how well we're doing and how much more we need to give, as even refs don't want us to win or achieve greatness this season.

He’s Spurs and he knows he is

Poch really digging out the players for the Burnley performance, which is rare for him. Shows how pissed off he was.

This is on most back pages this morning and it pleases me, we've made enormous progress under Poch but he knows there's so much further to go. The mentality of the club from the fans upwards has to change, we need more gritty, win at all costs players. Of course there's others that prefer the fancy dans, that's their choice. I've always thought Ozil should be a Spurs player, brilliant but can't be bothered - it was Adams and Vieira that won titles for them and that's what we need now.

Not sure I like those words. I’d like to see how he delivered them. If he sounded exasperated then I hope he’s got it in him to deliver what is needed.

I am not sure how saying it benefits us too. The media will jump on it and the players won’t think he has faith in them if they’ve any doubts about themselves. Hopefully it’s the kick up the arse they need but will it be?

It’s about time some pressure was put on these players. There are some that are convinced they are good enough to win things, but the only way to win things is to move to so called bigger clubs.Prove it. I would suggest our first 13/14 players matches anyone in the league - go and win it then - stop suggesting you need to move to win things

I think it's a great move by Poch to publicly critisize them, in a mild sort of way.

He's bang on, and the lack of enery/tempo to our play in the first half, after having 9 days off was nowhere near the level you need to be trying to impose yourselves on a game that we should be winning.

Yes it's a difficult enough game but our attitude wasnt right and Poch is rightly highlighting that.

You won't wins things turning up and strolling around in first gear. Anybody can have a bad day but it was the lack of effort/application that was really obvious.

Ferguson would never tolerate that timid effort and Poch, in a nice way, is also laying down a marker here.

It's clever management imo.

It was not too great IMO to say it will take another 10 years to sort the players mentality out. If the players are not good enough now then replace them with better ones. And I am not talking about technical ability, I am talking about heart, desire and mindset.

Agree this 10 years talk is rubbish and an easy excuse for him. Did it take Leeds Blackburn Chelsea city 10 years ? No all did it within 2 or 3 years of investment. Obviously Leicester was a bit of a freak but still shows mentality should not be an excuse. How can it take 10 years, none of the original players will even be left bar Kane and dele hopefully. I’m more and more convinced that Spurs is an easy ride for him no pressure and a fantastic wage. He’s done a great job with us absolutely nobody can question that, maybe nobody could have done better I’m not sure. But still maintain in 5 years this squad has been easily good enough to win something. I don’t know what that certain xfactor was that made Ferguson Mourinho etc winners but I just done think Pochettino has it. I really hope I’m proved wrong. I guess we will never know until he is financially backed and has no excuses like mentality.

I understand what Poch is saying about Saturday, but I think this team has been showing tremendous grit all season long, from being homeless, to the WC and no-preseason, and digging out result after result when the squad was in dire need of refreshment and we haven’t been playing that well.

My mum went to see him in the early 90s. He told her that her youngest son would die before he's 20. She came out fucking gutted, my dad laughed at her.

I'm the youngest son, now 43.

Was VAR used to prove that you’re the youngest son?
