There have been several recent signings that haven't quite done what was hoped. But for Kaboul and BAE in particular I feel that there is a spark there, something that makes me think there's enormous potential to be unlocked. I don't get that with Boateng.

Maybe it's his obvious arrogance, but he didn't seem to be able to get the basics right, even against shit like Famagusta and Derby County. He wasn't even up to sunday league level. For all his hard man hype, his tackling didn't seem up to much (although I wouldn't mind SS57 supplying me with a stat or 2).

I'd be a bit melancholy if we let Kaboul or BAE go because I think they could be top players, both strike me as the type that Wenger would mould into top class players, unfortunately. I wouldn't weep for Boateng's departure.

I think that Gil, KPB, Kaboul, BAE & O'Hara should stay unless we get silly money for them.

None has really had a chance to shine and this will be the 1st reason season of testing for them.

Senderos is still shit though
don't agree, he's developed into a solid defender, quite under-rated.
Anyway only an example and we'll never get anywhere if we get rid of players we bought who are u21 internationals and in the case of Kaboul, the CAPTAIN! really be very very disapointed to see us get rid of either. Would make no sense.
