Levy recently said in an interview in December...
“We are only going to do a naming-rights deal if we get the right brand, in the right sector, on the right money,” he told the Evening Standard.
“If we can’t meet those three criteria, we won’t do it. At the moment, we haven’t found a company that meets all three criteria. We are not really close to anything on that at the moment.”
It's not like other sponsorships (shirt, sleeve, various partnerships) where you can chop and change so easily, as once the stadium adopts the new sponsored name the name will stick. So he's holding out for the very best possible deal that will last at least a generation. And in the meantime we have the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Can't complain about that.
