I feel for Carr, Raiders were up 24-7, carr dislocates a finger and Carolina take a one point lead in to the fourth quarter

....and Carr returns plus a glove and steers us on to another 4th quarter victory and our best record since 2000.

Just win baby

whereare youfrom?Oakland?
Nah mate, Cardiff not CA. ;)

Just got an affinity with the Raiders going back to the early 2000's - Rich Gannon throwing bombs to Jerry Rice and Tim Brown, Charlie Garner in the backfield and leaders on D such as Rod Woodson and Romanowski.

Taken a long ol' time to get back to being a truly relevant force even in the AFC West let alone the whole of the NFL but we are doing just that with a young team that should in theory only get stronger.

Ah ok

I was just interested because when I was young I was a Raiders fan - had a hat and t shirt and supported them whenever the nfl was shown on channel 4 etc

Back then they were the LA Raiders

The whole movement of franchises has always intrigued me

And now they're talking of moving again

I'd like to know what it's like for a fan from oakland who's seen his team move to LA and back and now potentially gone again

Nature of the beast in American football but it'll be intriguing to see how it pans out with the mooted Vegas move.

End of the day, all about the $$$$$ as far as they are concerned.

As you say dollars is what matters. Nevada's coughing up $750m with another $650m coming from a Vegas casino owner. I can't see Oakland matching that offer, so unless the NFL owners oppose the move I think we'll be seeing the Las Vegas Raiders eventually.

I thought I heard the casino magnate that was ponying up the dough was the staunch republican donor and huge anti legal gambling blowhard Sheldon Adelson...

They'll still be Oakland's team. Oakland is their only true home. Always was. Always will be.

I've heard of Adelson, as I've been reading articles on NFL.com about this topic, but I didn't know about him being staunchly opposed to legal gambling (I did read that right, didn't I?). That seems a bit strange for someone with so much capital tied up in the casino industry.

A humbling defeat at Arrowhead there - feared the worst when Osemele was listed on the inactives.

Need Carr to get back to 100% as quickly as possible and what better way to respond to a divisional defeat than to beat the Bronco's next up.

Still all to play for but not totally in our hands now.

Insane that a touchdown pass to Cooper was made incomplete by the ball hitting the wire of the sky camera. WALLOB

They need to investigate that shit as this shouldn't ever happen

Regardless of that we were shit

Boy, as happy as I am as a Steelers fan, I'm glad I'm not facing LeVeon Bell in fantasy today. He just set a Steelers single game rushing game record, 225 yards rushing with 3TDs, plus 48 yards receiving... Still 10 mins left in the fourth quarter and he has over 45 fantasy points...

It's amazing how much better the pass defence is for Pittsburgh, too, the two rookie defensive backs, Artie Burns and Sean Davis, have completely turned around their weakness into a strength.
