The NFC South shouldn't be allowed to send anyone to the playoffs.

It is crazy when you compare the NFC South (Falcons 4-6, Saints 4-6, Panthers 3-7-1 and Buccaneers 2-8) to the records of the teams in the AFC North. (Steelers 7-4, Bengals 6-3-1, Browns and Ravens 6-4) The fact that one of the NFC South teams will reach the playoffs ahead of those teams is rather silly.

Would it not be quite simple that for a team to qualify for the play offs their record has to be .500 or better. If they fall below that win percentage then the team with the best record of all non play off teams get the slot?

Yup. Although maybe they'll beat the Chiefs? Maybe not.

Number 1 draft pick coming up...
Yup - although it'll be interesting to see what direction Reggie goes down (if he's still around that is).

2015's draft is year of the pass rusher which is a huge weakness of ours but with little help surrounding Carr, I wonder if we will look to give him some options with Amari Cooper at WR or Melvin Gordon at RB.

I think if you are picking at 1 you have to take leonard williams the dt from usc. The raiders cant stop anybody and i think he is almost as good a prospect as suh was when he was coming out of school.

If anybody in here wants to have a terrible 5 minutes i recommend reading the comments section of any espn article dealing with this adrian peterson situation

Anyone want to try and work out a last minute trade before the deadline? Now that I've got Lynch coming in, I'd be open to trading Lesean Mccoy, if one of you people at the bottom of the standings wants an RB to target as a keeper for next year. I also have Ronnie Hillman, Matt Ryan, and Golden Tate/Desean Jackson available. Mainly looking to strengthen my WR corps.

Feel free to PM me, or Email me through ESPN if you want to discuss stuff. Or just send me an offer.

edit: just kidding. i thought the trade deadline was tonight, not last night.

Not all records are created equally. Some teams have tougher schedules, but at least if you organize it by division you know that the teams in contention have played 10 of the same teams.

Also, divisional rivalries are fucking awesome. I'm a pats fan and i miss what its like to have a division rival. Luckily i get invited to a lot of steeler games who have 3 great home rivalry games every year

Bills/Jets moved to Detroit on Sunday night due to the fact the Bills stadium has received six feet of snow in the past three days.

Finally! Nice to beat the Chiefs and their silly red uniforms...The Autumn Wind is a Raider and all that.

Great yards from Murray as well.
Murray looked really promising and quite possibly has sealed the fate for McFadden and MJD - hopefully he'll be fit and raring to go next game.

Carr, Murray, Jackson, Mack, Moore and perhaps Carrie and Hayden who hopefully can fulfil his potential - they are the young guys to take us forward so hopefully we can have another good draft and start to build a young, hungry team determined to bring the good times back to the black hole!
