Have Oakland made any moves in free agency yet? Severely lacking in the secondary now that Asomugha's gone and we need someone on our D to turn the ball over.

Still hopeful for a good season and hopefully a run at the post-season.
They spent a lot of money signing their own free-agents like Seymour, which is probably why they haven't made a splash so far. They still need to re-sign Miller too and I'd do that before bringing someone in. They resigned Standford Routt before the lockout to big money and must be hoping he can step into Asomugha's shoes.

There were reports that they signed Jared Gaither, a left tackle, from Balitmore, but he's agent thas denied it and said he's only visting them atm.

Cheers, I knew of Seymour resigning and he will be the leader on our D but still concerned about our secondary and debateable if Routt can really step into the big hole that Asomugha has left.

Miller is crucial in our offence and your right we do need to sort his contract out sharpish.

I can't say I know much about Routt, but there was a bit about him on ESPN which shows he had an excellent season against the pass last year, especiually when you consider most people were throwing at him instead of Asomugha.

I don't know how to break this to you, so I'll just come out and say it. Miller has just signed for the Seahawks.

Seahawks acquiring some nice weapons. Although weaker than the other divisions still. Could be a good

That's just great...

Really need our offence to step up this year but Miller leaving is bad news, particularly considering we have been fairly inactive in free agency so in losing both Miller and Asomugha leaves us significantly weaker on both sides of the ball.

we usually go with the late sunday in August don't we? 28th? 21st still early?

I take it all places are taken by virtue of entering previous years, if there does happen to be a space free then I will more than gladly accept.

I've always entered a random league on my own before hand for the past 5-6 years so to enter in a SC league would be excellent!

looking back through the pages, it looks like we drafted on Sept 6th last year. Only a month away, tops, if we go with the same weekend :D

Season starts Thur Sep 8th. We usually draft as close as possible to the season opener. So i'd say Sunday 4th is probably the cutoff, if we're going for a weekend draft. I'll start PM'ing people. Let me know a convenient time.
If you happen to live in Korea, bear in mind you may need to be flexible. :p

I'll be in again this year if there's space.

Hopefully won't have to auto draft this time as it has let me down 2 years running!

If we get everyone back from last year can we keep one or two players this year?
