I've been seeing alot of lennon vs townsend, holtby vs siggy thread recently, and i realise there really isnt a place for us to really talking football. theres the individual player thread in the transfer rumour section, but sometimes i really want to engage posters from all the different thread and have a discussion. for example how hulk lamela and eriksen can fit into a 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 if they were played together, or how eriksen-lamela-townsend differs from chadli-eriksen-lamela.
theres the ITK thread but posters get banned or post gets deleted when we get too excited or engrossed talking football all together. i think a thread dedicated purely for discussing football, whether its formation for newly linked players, how our team can improve tactically etc etc have been long over due. i really hope this can work, and use each thread for its dedicated purpose, such as daily ITK thread for ITK discussion when there is ITK, and this thread when we want to discuss football things that will usually get us warned/banned in that thread. basically this is like 'that' itk thread without the itk
i really enjoy tactical discussions and i shall get the ball rolling. imo IF we ger eriksen and lamela, lining up eriksen-lamela-townsend will be my first choice base on townsend's form. eriksen and lamela has the creativity guile while townsend( poor man's hulk) has the pace and power. adding 1 more LB and backup striker like ba or damiao(if ade leaves) would be a near perfect window for me. the perfect window would be with 1 more hulk incoming, defoe leaves meaning
