Levy is just unable to concede an inch on anything. Always his ego before the club, whether it's transfers, personalities, the granular bullshit of a few quid in a contract, the fucking ghoul of a man just can't help himself.

IF his priority were this club, if it really genuinely were, he'd appoint JN with the DOF he wanted to work with and let them have at it, take a hit on some power and sit back and enjoy the ride... but it's not about the Club, it's about HIM its always about HIM he's an egomaniacal narcissist with some distorted view on reality where he is the centre of the known universe.

If we end up with anyone other than POCH, JN or SLOT, it's another failure, and he HAS to go. Has to. No argument validates a decision or choice not to appoint one of those. Money, pay it. Power, give it. Personality clash, go to therapy and deal with it.

Levys legacy. Poch got us to second in the league on 86 points (which would have won us the league about 10 - 15 times with that points tally).

He then repays poch by not signing him any players when poch himself sais there needs to be a rebuild.

He knocks down WHL to build our new stadium that is supposed to propel is into the elite with the money it makes. 4 years later it still hasn't got naming rights and less than a week ago was about a quarter full for our end of season lap of honour. He is so out of touch and us fans continue to pay the price and suffer!

He hasn't learnt anything from 2 years ago with the whole Nuno fiasco, which was beyond embarrassing and this is topping that! We've got a great selection of managers to choose from. Poch is right there, doesn't want him. Nagelsmann is right there, doesn't want to meet his demands even though we've been interested before and for me he's the perfect choice.
Slot is too expensive.

I'm so deflated with him in charge of the footballing side. We need a dof desperately (and not a criminal one this time, levy) who can make the decisions and I'm just gonna pray that Nagelsmann is still in the picture.

He doesn't learn, or change, because he doesn't see that he's done anything wrong. It's everyone else, he should run for PM!

His time is up. Everyone knows what he is about, so people turn us down left, right, and centre. They know that the words that come out of his mouth mean nothing. He is a liar.

I just can't fathom how our fan base is so accepting of this shit from the Board/Levy/ENIC. If this continues for much longer we will be fighting to stay in the premier League.
It's quite clear the club have no desire or ambition to appoint a top manager and back them fully and even worse than that they haven't a clue what their doing on football side of things. We are a football club after all not an events club.

For me the future of this great club is at crisis point and I have no faith in the people making the decisions or that they have a coherent plan in place for future success on the pitch. You can bet they know what concerts will be at the stadium next summer though.

Our last managerial search was a shit show where we clearly had no idea what we wanted. We interviewed loads of people and ended up with a dud.

Conte became interested within a few months. If he hadn't, I dread to think what a season of Nuno would have been like.

Do I particularly care about Slot not coming? No, and I really wanted him. But this is showing all the normal signs of our incompetence.i
i can answer one of thee questions a whole season of Nuno would have been very similar to the one we have just had

Just the mere 22 years in charge of our club - and still no coherent football vision and strategy.

Still pays himself a regular bonus ££££££££££

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all mark our own homework.

So you admit that Levy did have the ‘vision’ to appoint him in first place when no other teams in the league were following that path?

what’s the point you are making here?

do you think Levy has vision? Is a good strategist?

it was so long ago that hard to argue it’s even relevant now, how ahead of his time Comoli even was and whether it’s a moot point when levy sacked him so quickly - suggesting he had little conviction in the whole process

I don’t see it as having “vision” if you lack the conviction to see it through though to answer your question

I have to wake up to this shit?!?! I lived through Bob Irsay's Colts and Peter Angelos O's here in Baltimore. I didn't think I'd ever have to deal with this level of incompetence again with one of my teams. Fuck you Levy!! Absolute clown show.

but the last two failures as managers were so called top managers who both took the side backwards

It's almost as if the high ups still have no f'ing clue what they're doing when it comes to any aspect of the footballing side and what it takes to have a chance of real and sustained success.

Certainly not even enough to have a coherent plan in place with the proper steps taken in the right order - like getting in a competent DoF with a good track record first and letting them get on with overseeing this process - instead of first publicly saying no thanks to a top candidate and whiffing on their supposed preferred choice.

Nope, wouldnt be much change. Too many ofour fanbase voice their disagreement online but on matchday they are lazy. Only a couple thousand voice their discontent and the others bankroll this with beers food and merch.

Compared to what Newcastle achieved with Ashley, United with Glazers now and even West Ham getting GSB to sell a larger stake, we are not very good at this sort of thing.
Perhaps you don't speak for the majority of fans. Those voicing unreasonable grievances and making futile demands are luckily a small minority.

Our club has made substantial progress under Levy while Newcastle, West Ham and Manure have not over the past 20 years. Those are all very badly run clubs (as are most clubs). I would also argue that the fans had little impact on decisions made by the owners.

The best we can hope for is that Levy delegates footballing decisions to a competent and experienced DOF and hires a coach who plays progressive and entertaining football. I do think that is what Levy is trying to do.

Its time for him to walk away. 20m is Ndonbele's left leg and he wont pay it for the most important role at the club.
Pretty sure 20m for Slot would be 3rd highest compensation fee paid for manager, only Nagelsmann and Potter was more expensive.

It was £15m. We went to £10m.

We paid Mourinho and Conte what £15m a year?

We wouldnt have had to pay Slot that yearly.

Its classic Levy refusing to defeat hardball in negotiations by the sounds of reports.
