Quite an interesting btw. About new data-driven approach and Paratici. ()

He made the final call so he gets the credit. Same way all the bad things that go wrong are on him. Sadly there has been plenty of those.

Anyone know when the fan Q&A will be with Levy, Ange and Sonny.

I was at one years back with Levy, Poch & Hugo, it was epic and very intimate some great Q’s and interesting answers at the time however Levy batted a lot of football/strategy Q’s onto Poch and even Hugo, I hope this time he is held accountable and answers some of them.

Can someone post the link in here once this takes place and/or @ me please.

It's scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday 19th Sept.
Levy also answered a few questions at the FAB meeting.

Give it up for our chairman for bringing the joy back to spurs. you all can't wait to blame him but never want to praise him when he does well?

I actually hate individual performance bonuses personally at all levels, but especially for junior football. You'd have been dropped if you were getting paid by your parents to score in any of the teams that I coached. I used to make the kids and parents sign contracts relating to behaviour and attendance etc, and paying their kids to score etc was one of the criteria that was an absolute deal breaker. If any of you are parents of young players, or coaches of youth teams you should thoroughly discourage this as early as possible.
Guilty. I used to give my daughter £1 for a goal or a genuine assist. Was shocked to discover one of her mates' dad is still giving her £1 a goal at the weekend. Seems a bit much at U18s, cost him £4 too.

Serious question: now the ownership has been made clear (Levy owns roughly 30% of the club) so roughly 1.5bn currently, how do you "oust" him.

What would it take for you to be ousted if you were in a similar situation to him, paid to run and watch Spurs?

We need to decouple our view of Levy from whatever our current form happens to be.

Are we now happy with him just because we’ve won a few games? Or do all the criticisms still stand? Were some too harsh just because we were playing shit?

I know what my view is.

Rob, you are right, my divorce lawyer said "people never change" and he was right it just took 3 more years to realise it.

If he backs Ange though thick and thin, keeps signing good players and we see improvement and direction then i a lot of us will forgive him.

but you know really he wont be able to help himself and we will end up loosing Ange, then hiring the most defensive manager the world has seen after!

I’m a hardcore levy critic, but I’m going to get off his back for now. I’m really liking our current crop of players, manager, and the togetherness they have.

People do change. Your divorce lawyer is full of shit, especially since a divorce usually happens because people change whilst in a relationship.

Has levy learnt anything? Possibly/possibly not.

We will see if he backs ange when we are at a point of strength. Usually that's when he doesn't.

I blame Levy 100% for appointing Mourinho and Conte (which many fans were elated by), but I don't blame him one little bit for not giving them exactly what they wanted when it became obvious how dreadful they both were. If he doesn't back Ange he can absolutely 'do one' but we're not there yet.

Depends how reactionary we want to be.

we have had poor decisions for a 5-6 year period and in that time dropped the ball badly. However now it appears we are moving somewhat in a better direction.

if Paul O Keefe is correct then our new manager was hired based on the new CFO and the data people. Our scouting and youth system has been revamped by Paratici according to ITK. This implies that Levy and the board are hiring and letting the football experts run the show or at least have some control.

it’s far to early to say if this is long term. But if Levy and board allow the experts and the structure to grow and not throw it all away and in 3-5 years time we look like a solid run outfit that can compete at the top then yes Levy will deserve all the praise.

If however we hit a bad run and he does his old throw the baby out with the bath water and we end back at the start like the post Poch situation then no.

Same as it ever was really - only person with any real power over him is Uncle Joe (now Uncle Joe's family Trust, I suppose). Even then, they could sell all their shares and Levy could retain his & stay involved if he so wished.

The issue for me is that the alternatives when it comes to ownership are incredibly limited for a club of this size. We're not going to see an Abramovich-like benevolent billionaire come in unless maybe Jeff Bezos suddenly develops an interest in football. Currently the two groups buying big clubs are either sportswashing petrostates or American capital investment groups, neither of whom I'd want anywhere near the club.

At the moment my hope is that Munn & Co do really well and Levy feels likes he can take a proper step back from the footballing side of things.
