No, I'm just not flinging my poo around. I thought this was a forum for discussion, not a circle jerk Levy hating forum. We work with what we've got and he's still the owner.

I'm not excusing him, but I don't hold him responsible when 11 well played, experienced and capable footballers play like wankers, and no amount of complaining by me is going to force Levy to step down.
That's essentially two different arguments though - I don't blame him and he's not going anywhere anyway. I do think that he's totally to blame but I agree that he's not going anywhere.

It does feel like the buck is being passed again

Agreed, but what choice did he have? Keep Stellini after that show? Not a chance - imagine the reception next match when he walks out. Would've been horrific.

As said, bit of a lose/lose, but changes have been made and, hell, at this stage I'm just along for the ride to the end of this season, start over next year.

I don’t dispute that,

But we have had a continuous shit show for 5 years, and his the guy in charge (levy)

No direction

No plan

Yet the people below him keep getting sacked

P.s it might be 6 or 7 years if you think no succession planning for players

I want Levy, Lewis and the whole of Enic gone. Yes we have a shiny stadium but who cares when the football and atmosphere is crap. Complete reset starts at the very top. God knows how Levy and co would sell for a fair price though.

also i like ryan mason and think he has a big career ahead of him, but: 'Ryan knows the club and the players well' is literally the last thing we need. bring someone external in, freshen it up, some new ideas and no historic biases in terms of selection and tactics, even if it is for a short period of time.

I agree with most of this, but timing is wrong, imo. A new manager is stuck with this squad, who apparently decided to leave their pride in the locker room. If we're bringing in someone else then I fully expect they are going to want to clear out at least half of our current mishmash of players, so wait until the end of the season, bring someone in early and give them the cheque book, let them go wild for a bit and build up.

That statement is so cringey, someone has obviously told him he needs to be more relatable, hence the forced informal tone, ie 'Daniel' & COYS at the end.

Just when you think things can't get any more embarrassing.....

Agreed, it's frustrating but, think of it from his perspective - just looking at Jose & Conte as they are great examples, given plenty of money to spend, signed a fair number of capable players, and both have come up short. I don't think Levy would've scuttled his own club by deliberately preventing signings (and I don't recall either accusing him of that) and I don't hear either of them saying he interfered in the football side of things, did they?

Conte's parting shots were really vague, I'd like to have seen a proper interview with him, gloves off, explaining a bit more detail about the situation, but we never got that and it could've really answered a lot of the questions that the fans had been asking for a while...

Who is Ryan’s assistant, they could be leading us out against Liverpool at this rate.

Not a great statement by any means - but the tone of it is very different to what we usually see. Have looked back through all of the statements I could find (there are many) and they are all either very blunt and straight to the point, or wish the manager well after talking about their successes, maybe at best saying something like "it's not worked out the way we hoped".

Conte
Nuno - came from Paratici not Levy
Mourinho
Pochettino
Sherwood
AVB
Redknapp
Ramos

It won't be enough for most people, but this is the very first time Levy appears to have actually acknowledged some degree of responsibility this time around.

Unfortunately, our entire board of directors don't know absolutely anything about football. That's scary.
Even scarier is the fact that they think they do.

But when will levy learn ?

We can’t have a defensive manager

A lot of our players are shit

Davies, Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga, The French guy

All are not good enough

So we are offering a new contract to Dier and possibly signing the Barca guy who I can’t spell his name but I could tell you with no professional experience he can’t defend, not to mention we have been playing deep to help them all out.

P.s I like Davies but his not a starter

Well he could at least announce he will no longer be involved in any footballing matters and will now only work on financial/commercial issues.
Considering Munn doesn't officially start until the summer we have nobody else to run the football matters do we?
