It's fairly idiotic to say that Levy has 'destroyed the club' considering where we are now compared to when ENIC took over.

You can't ignore the massive things he's done.

But as fans we live and breathe on the football.

And there is simply no argument against the fact that, even by his own criteria, Levy has completely failed on that front.

As a result he'll get a very very deserved backlash off the back of this.

We will never see the like of Kane at the club again. Not in our lifetimes. Levy built a stadium fit for the best striker in the world. Trouble is, a stadium means nothing if the team it was built for is sub-standard. Levy out. He has failed.
All the stadium means is profit for ENIC & LEVY'S account....

Everything both Levy and ENIC have done for the "club" has been done to line their pockets and increase the value of their asset.

Have we as a fanbase benefitted from that? In some ways, yes.

But make no mistake about their intentions, they couldn't give a fuck about anything other than the balance sheet.

It’s the moment that will define his decades in charge here. He probably doesn’t realise that yet. There is no coming back from this. It’s a tangible moment of epic failure. The fact that it’s come a significant period of time after his stadium opened makes it all the more damning for him.

It's incredibly naive to think that any football club owner is doing it 'for the love of the game' at this stage.

If that's what you want then, quite simply, don't support a Premier League team (something I'm genuinely considering)

But yes, as fans, we don't support the team because its a business success. We don't support bank balances. And that's why Levy is rightly seen as a failure.

Rightio, I'm now fully on board with this! Time for them to go, every single board member, Levy and ENIC.

From the week before our first game at the new stadium.

Levy has failed by his own metrics.

Levy’s recipe for success was: build a big stadium, hire a big name manager, buy mid-tier players. Hope it works out. Amazingly, it didn’t.

We were a massive club before Levy came

the 90s were terrible but our natural place has always been a big 4-6 club

Any owner with reasonable commercial acumen during a huge global boom for premier league football would have delivered what Levy has or better

Asset values of all top end premier league sides have gone up massively.

People confuse the rising tide with Levy’s skill

just like buying a house 20 years ago all you had to do was watch it appreciate in value

Surely he himself has realised now, what a monumental fuck up he has created, with this enforced sale, due to his complete negligence.

Levy hasn’t destroyed the club. He’s done some good things. I believe he has good(ish) intentions. But, he has clearly failed. He has no coherent plan. He will continue to make random stabs in the dark from now until his eventual departure. Some might work a bit, for a while. But, there is no doubt that he doesn’t have a bloody clue what he’s doing at this point.

All Levy can really do now is back the manager he's brought in fully, regardless of what any of us want. If Ange is backed then it's on him to produce and give DL's judgement some much needed PR or a further denting.

I do get frustrated with the view that he has turned us from a nothing into this huge club

We were in a very similar position to now when I was a kid and before that we won loads of trophies. What gives Levy the get out of jail is the mess Sugar made in the nineties.

I'd imagine in large part to Sugars era coinciding with many peoples childhood the club is often judged at one of its lowest points in history.

Now let's be fair. We have never been regular league winners or anything like that but I think its fair to say that whilst others have used that TV money to really go for it on the pitch, ENIC have used it to build infrastructure and property for their own means and sure it could help us but right now it's meant nothing for us as we're in the same place in the pecking order as we were before.

I'm at the stage where all debates aside , they have fattened it up enough to make generations of Levys family rich so can they now please just sell without asking for insane prices like he does with players, hence the near 40 man squad.

How have we benefited in anyway at all? You talking the new stadium? It’s a shell of what white hart lane used to be. Just an entertainment arena.
