Love it when things are going well, all the purple and yellow disappears from twitter.

Yet they claim it's not reactionary, or tied to current performance.

But we must.

Lest we forget.
Indeed. The early signs are good so we should also try to be fair. And maybe a bit more selective in our use of the Ceebomb :woot:

'Ousting' was never going to be achieved but what do people expect from the discontent? A campaign saying we aren't happy Mr Levy, could you see your way clear to parking your ego and profit led mindset and sorting out the football club please? It always had to get a bit tasty to do any good. If indeed it actually did, we'll never know for sure but the signs suggest it did. If this carries on (not solely the results but also how the footballing side is run) then we can't complain too much (although we always will :D). Time will tell.

Right now there's no shame in admitting Levy has done well so far but at the same time you're right, we shouldn't forget, the pressure on him was fully deserved and is never going to be far away and that's his own fault. So far, so good but we're watching you shortshanks ;)

People coming in here being smug and snide about this whole 'ousting' business are being a bit short sighted and massively pathetic

Anyway, back into hibernation on this for me, right now watching us is good, no need for self inflicted downers.

IIRC, stadium naming rights for THFC have been valued at around 20 million euros per season. Keeping the name "The Tottenham Hotspur stadium" is worth far more than that.
Why? Is there any basis for this assertion?

I guess we will see how much things have changed in January. Now Munn and his team are installed, Levy should be leaving things to them.

I daresay that a failure to strengthen our squad weaknesses this January will stir up discontent.

An injury to either of our centre backs will also stir this up, especially as it would derail our great start.

Ange is already asking for signings early in the window. If that happens then I will believe things might be different. As usual it is a wait and see with Levy unfortunately given his history.

I believe the thinking is regarding the global value of having our name mentioned with the events taking place there. "Taylor Swift performs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" is better for us as a brand than say "Taylor Swift performs at x sponsor stadium". Our name and club get major exposure from it. Is it actually worth it in the short and long term? No idea.

Isn't there also a thing around certain european/world competition finals can't be played in stadiums that are sponsored?

Guy is a ****. A useless ****. If he had a brain he'd have got naming rights on the stadium. Anyone that thinks Teflon has a brain is an idiot.

Surely thinking that someone doesn't have a brain would make you an idiot? 🤔

Zing! Well played nailsy. That's me put in my place. Teflon will have a chuckle at that post and think of you as he bulldozes whitewebbs.
You are partly why this thread and the whole agenda of "ousting" Levy will never be taken seriously. You talk to people like a child, resorting to insults like "teflon" and "****".

I want Levy gone, but to call him those words and someone with no brain is pretty ridiculous. The guy oversaw our rise up the league, the new training facility and stadium. He really isn't an idiot. He may not be the smartest when it comes to football matters, but he is by no means an idiot.

Seems as though this useless **** rents space in your head.

It doesn't make sense on any business level. Barca will have the Spotify Nou Camp when their modern stadium is built. You think our market is Taylor Swift fans? Amazing though she is. We're better off cashing in the 300m minimum and strengthening the 'brand' by err...investing in players who can win things and strengthen the brand. It's just one example of terrible chairmanship that has been abley whitewashed by the genius that is big Ange. Teflon has lucked out on this force of nature. This does happen every 8 years tbf. Let's see how he screws this one up.

I used Taylor Swift as an example, because let's be honest she is one of the biggest names on the planet. I even said I don't know if it's worth it, just that I believe that was the thinking or what I think it could be. You can strengthen the brand with marketing off the pitch and performances on the pitch. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Both can work.

You get angry way too easily.

Guy has a track record of disastrous business decisions. The stadium over run and double the initial cost being the apex. But as time goes on folks like yourself pretend it was a giant success. It wasn't. His meddling cost us a fortune. 500m at least when you consider Wembley costs and the 2 season over run. Incompetent doesn't cut it at this level. Nepotism does though. If you're happy with that. Cool. I'm just going to remind people the facts we have an idiot in charge. This is just one example. You are more than welcome to insult me. It means nothing to me buddy.
