Just bumping this after today.

The stadium was flat. Before, during and after. It was horrible.

I then had a Gooner threaten to stab me on the tube, and we now have a table of them behind us on the Thameslink home singing Arsenal songs.

At this point it is going to take a lot to renew again.

Just thoroughly unenjoyable - would rather spend the money on a holiday with the little ones, and watch on TV
Very sad to hear!

Same (minus the stab threats). Season ticket holders around me seem to have disappeared and been replaced with absolute twats. 90 minutes of bile spewed by those who’ve replaced them - “Sessenmong” being a particular lowlight. The time and money you spend to go and watch us feels like it’s just not worth it anymore, and a lot of that’s not even down to the rubbish we’re served up on the pitch. Not sure I’ve been more disillusioned with it all before. I think I only keep it now because I don’t want to let it go
I feel exactly the same mate.

I do think the fans just wasn’t to see some decent football.

Going from incredible times under poch for 4 of 5 years under him breathtaking football, title races, CL final, to 3 years of Jose, Nuno and now Conteball is just plain draining and the fans are just sick and tired of watching it.

We might be still finishing 4th,6th,5th etc but for 3 years now we’ve played football which is arguably the WORST to watch in the league or at least consistently in the bottom 3 and that is really no exaggeration, throw in a pandemic and rising cost of living and arsenal top of the league playing the exact type of football we used to play under poch and the fans are just bored, disillusioned and pissed off and rightly so.

It’s a £100+ day to go to a game and it takes out basically the whole day with travelling etc, why bother doing that to go to a toxic atmosphere stadium with a product on the pitch which is boring as fuck time and again, barely any possession or passing moves, no sustained pressing or attacking play, everything is so safe and rigid and if we are losing it’s not throw the kitchen sink to come back it’s be careful not to lose by even more keep the score line respectable.

That is NOT Tottenham Hotspur.

There is no plan or direction or project to get behind on the football side.

This could all change but until it does it’s not worth the time and money at all right now.

It’s so weird to feel this disillusioned with the club when I went to every game in the 90’s and 00’s when we were really bad mid table team at times but the last 3 seasons especially have just been so incredibly draining and toxic, at least in the 90’s and 00’s when we were up and down and mid table, we were either attacking and entertaining and too open but fun to watch and we scored goals and went for it, or in the 00’s we started to seem like we had a plan to get better like when we started to sign and play young English players such as: Robinson, Dawson, King, Carrick, Jenas, Lennon, Defoe

We also had a mix of strikers like Keane, Defoe, Kanoute, Mido, it feels like we’ve just had Kane up there any no one else for years and years.

And we’ve been finishing 4th-7th the last few seasons but my god the football under Jose Nuno and conte with this mess of a squad has been torture to watch, I never ever remember spurs sides behind this boring apart from possibly under George Graham but at least we had Ginola then ??

Oh goodness , I just want to see my Tottenham play some half decent passing football and try to attack and win with a tad of freedom and creativity and flair.

?

It’s a miserable experience. Feels a slog rather than something you look forward to these days. Guy behind me at Villa in south reckons he pays £95 a ticket. How crazy has football got that you’re paying over a £1 a minute to watch.

He should only be paying half cause we only start playing in the 2nd half.

The Stadium sounded dead today.
It didn’t at all - you couldn’t hear the goons at all from 5 mins before KO, but once Sess managed to pea roll two great crossing opportunities straight at the man in front of him (when easier to avoid) and Lloris threw the ball into his own net the life drained out of the crowd.

I am literally bored senseless now at the Levy dome, i go to meet my friends and have a few beers.
I go to all the away games and sell as many home games as i can!
Yesterday, i left at 83 minutes, ive never done that even when they beat us 5-0.

For me the cost benefit doesn’t stack up at all anymore

prices in my view are ridiculous

only justified if we saw genuine investment and ambition in the team

obviously not the case

I wouldn’t over state how strong tourist demand is though at these prices

I have overseas relatives that were saying they would rather spend a bit extra on a train and go and see Utd/Liverpool as a day out!

everyone knows we are avg!

The levels people take the outcome of a football match…

I always find you can pick out a modern day Arsenal fan a mile off, lots of these blud blud, you get me gang. Also very immature views on football

The older generation of football fan is being phased out as they are seen as “brexiteers”

The exchange rates are always good and a one off game for a huge price makes up for not being to go to all of them.

There was a fan at the front row of the south stand filming Odegaards goal ffs awful

Stadium needs a team to defend it to become a fortress. Believe me, WHL was not a fortress in the 90s and early 00s.

Yeah agree. People have rose-tinted specs on WHL because it ended so well. Place was a fucking morgue for long periods. If the team's good, the stadium's good. If it isn't, it's not. Really is that simple.

If Kane gets his record in the next couple of away games I’m seriously considering selling my City ticket if Conte is still in charge. Only reason I’d go at present is because I’d want to see Kane get the record.

I’m sick and tired of making a 3-4 hour round trip and spending money on parking, trains, food, drink etc to be rewarded with dog shit negative football.
I've not been since Forest away for the same reasons mate.

No way am I doing all of what you set out above to watch us be controlled most games and barely have a go. It's awful to watch.

I gave up my season ticket this season and instantly regretted it when I signed up as a member to find out I'm 95000th on the list. However now I'm glad I did. The rare occasion I now want to go I can just buy a ticket

It’s such a sad state of affairs. I remember during the design of the stadium how much excitement there was regarding the dortmund style single tier stand, how intimidating it would be for the opposition. In fact how intimidating the stadium was going to be, by keeping the sound in and avoiding the mistakes other clubs have made in stadium design.

These things were achieved, but they have become irrelevant as the mismanagement from the top down of the basic football side of things has neutralised all of that. World class stadium, world class striker. Yet we have managed to have dinosaur Mourinho, an absolutely embarrassing farce of Nuno which basically revealed to all that …. at the top they have no idea what they are doing and are making it up as they go along. We have had Ryan Mason in charge of cup finals. Some of it is amateur night stuff that happens at West Ham.

Levy is well past his sell by date and his utter mismanagement has led us to where we are now with fans utterly disheartened and basically getting no enjoyment from match days.

Wouldn’t worry about the waiting list, I’ve been offered a season ticket every year since it was built.

WHL never ever felt as toxic as it has done at the new stadium the last 3 years imo.
