The Paralympics - London 2012

Its a little like the build up to the the Olympics. I wasn't that fussed, but the opening ceremony swung it for me and then the excellent coverage and the medal hall brought it home. I hope it's the same for the Paralympics.

That said, I have to say how much I admire Ellie Simmonds. She must make her parents so proud.

Couple of mates, one is a physio and knows one of the archery lot I think, are going to the OC this evening. Looking forward to it massively. Another week of swimming coming up - WOOHOO!

The torch relay is 3 hours behind, due to the weather. They've taken a second torch the the stadium as a backup for the ceremony.

She is a manager at Treloar College for disabled children and adults from aged 5 to 23
