So Arsenal played for their fans since they won?
This sort of bollocks is so cringey. In this bartering system where a win pays for a defeat then they must be of equal value. So the two wins against Chelsea and Inter leave the club in credit after the one defeat at Arsenal. Going back the last 10 days, the players actually owe us a defeat against Southampton. In fact, over Poch’s reign they have won far more games than they have lost so they owe us a string of defeats to balance the books.
In conclusion. This system of justification is shit.
I'm surprised how many people see it that the players didn't turn up. To me it was obvious that we looked completely exhausted and just didn't have the legs for it. I certainly saw no lack of effort or passion. Arsenal played well, and won the game because of a deflected goal.
No, we lost because they were better than us and wanted it more.
The squad is decimated fitness wise because of the world cup and a litany of related muscle injuries, team selection is being dictated pretty much by physical condition.
Maybe.
I think what you'll more likely see on Wednesday is how the fans are in fact not there for the team, with a humiliatingly low attendance.
Agree, but you forgot the lack of vocal support at Wembley, it's almost Haemorrhoidesque.
They can be distracting...Stopped reading after hemorrhoids

Do you think they care? They just see it as another game. Only matters to us

The players owe you nothing, you sound like a spoilt kid.I demand better than what I got on Sunday for my money.

Here’s the faults in this post as I see it.I want the players who failed to turn up at the Haemorrhoids Stadium to feel as if they really owe us a wonderful team performance on Wednesday night. Players always say how much they love playing for their managers and that's great as far as it goes, but I always feel a little short changed when I hear that. I want them to say how much they love playing for their fans. We are the most important part of what they do and get paid so well for so it's us, the paying punters they should be playing for. Managers, players and coaches come and go but we are always there in all weathers. I was gutted on Sunday more than anything else, because we failed to turn up and give those bastards a real game. I'm sure Poch has put fire in their belies for the game on Wednesday evening. They owe it to him and more importantly, they owe it to all of us.

I expect the sum total of fuck all, anything else is a bonus. If I told you what you sounded like, I'd get banned from here. What a couple of stupid comments. Perhaps you could let us all know what you expect for your money, not bloody much by all accounts.
