It is quite rare that a club on the up wins the title at its first serious attempt. Therefore we will win the league next year :)

Plus, we never ever thought that we would come second at the beginning of the season. Most of us were surely unsure that we would even finish fourth!

Count me in on that one! I thought we would be doing really well to get fourth and that Alli, Trippier, Davies and Lamela would not be as good as they are. I also thought that we would be struggling for replacements at CB and Striker, and that Dier would struggle at DM.

Boy am I ever glad to have got all that so wrong!:LOL::LOL:

Watching us sign better players, progress further in the CL and mount a title challenge next season whilst Leicester languish in 9th-15th place after blowing their Mahrez and Kante money on sub par shite because they couldnt attract the big guns despite finishing above us will fill me with so much joy especially because of the way their knobhead fans have conducted themselves this season.

Wherever we finish we will always, in any player's eyes, be the more attractive club between the two. Every man and his dog know that Leicester are a fluke.

Who would ever have expected Alli to have a first season like he has, wow!

Not forgetting, of course, that in two years time we will have a shiny new stadium!

I think our lads rendition of "you're fecking shite" (dunno if swearing is kosher on here or not so I bottled it) was about a zillion octaves louder!
Yes and in the Hey Jude Your Shit song most of the stadium was pointing at the Man U fans, top quality.
TBF the ManU support was very good for them, arrogant twats but good songs.

Same here. I certainly didn't think we'd get top 4.

Amazing how priorities change. Leicester have disrupted this season, and their form has actually helped us in a lot of ways. They've taken points off City and United (OK, not Arsenal), and opened up the league in a way that we have taken advantage of brilliantly.

We're still looking up (as we should be), but if we end up second that will be an incredible achievement. We have our own story going on. A young team developing superbly, a great manager, and a stunning new stadium on the horizon. Our performances this season have also secured a dream end to White Hart Lane next season, with CL football under the floodlights.

Who knows...maybe we'll even depart the Lane as champions next season.

It's absolutely completely and utterly vital that we keep winning games in order to finish above Arsenal.

That simply HAS to happen this season. It'll be a gigantic disappointment for them to scrape above us yet again.

Must. Keep. Winning. Games.

To be fair, I suspect that everyone at the club wants this too. I just cannot see Poch letting anyone take it easy until the last whistle has gone against Newcastle.

I can see Lpool winning the EL if they can get past Dortmund, can't see City winning the CL but stranger things have happened.

We need to make sure we hold onto second as a minimum. Finishing 3rd and having to go to the play-offs would be a blow.
Don't forget Man City would also have to finish 5th or lower.

3rd will still ensure automatic qualification.

There's finishing second, which would be great. Then there's finishing second the Spurs way. With style and panache. That's magnificent.

It's recognised by the neutral that whilst Leicester may be top, we've been the most exciting team to watch. Our goal difference proves that. As a spurs romantic, doing things with style is just as important. Sir Nicholson would agree with that.
