If they play like that tonight, and with the night atmosphere, I think they'll beat us....plus Suarez will be back.

I`ll be at this one, unfortunately with my scouse supporting mates in the kop...should be a cracking atmosphere though, however if they play to their best and we do ours, we will win, because we are better than them in nearly all areas of the pitch.

Seriously? Are we still in with a shout of winning the league?

That would require us to go virtually unbeaten, city to lose 3/4 games, and Utd to lose 2/3 games.

And that's at an absolute minimum.

If City draw say 4, which we win, then we're level again. City still have to play every hard team except from us. Obviously we do to, but doesn't mean we're not going to win and they are going to win. Titles still available, just less likely.

Who says we can't go on another good run? City are in awful form atm.

they're not really in awful form though, most of their poor results were in the cups. we'll probably need to win 14 of our remaining 16 games to win the league.

Agree. If we beat Wigan at home and they lose away to Everton will we still be out of it ? We are the form team of the prem and have our first XI available unlike the rest so there's definitely still a chance

I'm really confident about the team that I don't fear any opposing team. My concern is with the officials.

Depending on how seriously City and Utd take the Europa League, they'll have Thursday/Sunday games fairly regularly from mid February onwards. I don't think either of them have the squad strength to play entirely different XIs in each competition.

At any point during the season will anyone say that Manchester United are out of the race for the title? No they won't. Can we catch Manchester United? Yes we can.
So unless the day we catch United we are both more points down than remain to be played for we will be in the race for 1st, is that possible or feasible? With 16 games to go and 48 points to play for; you betcha!!

We've lessened our squad and will loose at Pool, Chelsea and Arsenal if we get key injuries.

I really admire people's optimism but it's rose tints people.

Hopefully 3rd and into 6/7th next year
