Only just seen how bald Conte was going before his three hair transplants... Now THAT is impressive

I don't see what you're basing that on?

The intensity and the difficulty to cope with more than one comp that we've seen when teams play in Europe as opposed to teams not playing in it, there's evidence there which proves this theory correct, that's before you take fatigue and injuries into account.

Yeah I know that. I don't see why that means they wouldn't be "near the title". We had all that and ran them close.

It means they wouldn't have won the title...

And us running them close is thus proving my point, the fact that we ran them close despite our set backs is pretty telling ;)

Just hope we don't do what we did at the end of last season after Leicester won the title. Massive game for the fans and players still on Sunday so I hope their head is still in it and we secure second.
Someone simply needs to mention that trip to St James's last May to the players. If that doesn't motivate them, they have no business being at a professional football club.

I think that's wishful thinking. They have a squad at least as strong as us. I see no reason why they couldn't cope and challenge.

If Chelsea lost Alonso for 3 months, Costa for 8 matches, Luiz for 2 months, Pedro for 5 months etc..Do you think they'd be where they are now?

I don't know. If people said the same about us earlier in the season and used Kane, Verts etc in their place they would say we would never challenge.

I think the answer is obvious, Chelsea lost Alonso against Utd and looked totally out of sorts and lost the match, they also didn't have Moses for the game against Palace and they ended up losing that as well, pretty sure they would have struggled if they had long term injuries...

No need to draw comparisons with us, we've coped pretty well this season where as Chelsea I don't think would have coped as well.

They're a lot more palletable with Conte in charge. Too soon?

he's a top manager and gotten them playing good football (much better than anything Maureen got them playing). Just a shame it's that puss bucket of a football club.

Good riddance, they won the title, like finally.. They could have won it much earlier, but think many missed the respect we at least deserved to pushing them to only win it at this stage..

Now I can enjoy our last 3 matches and a final one at WHL without distractions of false hopes..

Fuck chelscum, fuck Conte.. Hope next season will see less of his fucking irritating celebrations.

Although i fully expected chelsea to win the league after we lost to west ham its still awful to see it

I think despite the huge occasion on sunday players will be affected

I agree with you but you would hope that the players are more resilient from last season and the opportunity to spend a whole season unbeaten at home in our last season at the lane will give them the incentive to turn up.

Last season Leicester won it through our match. This season Chelsea won it with a win. Big difference. We know we did all we could.

On a side note, if City drop points today we get 2nd without even playing.

He seems like a good bloke I agree but good football ? Come on ? no really ? stop it ! stop !ahhh no more. :p

I have watched them on so many occasions this season actually pass the ball back to their opposition to play that negative counter shit rather then do something positive with the ball. :poop::poop:

The race is run ; that ship has sailed.
We kept them honest until last Friday.
Now to secure second
and maintain our steady progress.
321 liftoff.
Thanks for a wonderful season everybody.
Need to sort out our attitude to Europe and our priorities
keep ALL our players
and keep our wage structure under control.
I hear you Daniel but just let out the belt and braces a little
after two seasons of feasting on the good things in life.
Pochettino rules OK

It didn't look like it in March but I am pleased that there actually was a race for the title, and we were in it, in fact without us there wouldn't have been one at all.
