They beat us at the lane...
And still depresses me. I have no doubt they have some good players and there's a chance tonight. Just not from 2 days training. The biggest things as some mentioned is mcclaren gone and they may have a better game plan. Aside from this, don't forget how good a team Leicester are. Put simply they are far far better than Newcastle, so you have to hope they underperform too. But let's have that hope!

Would it be fair to say that when we play either Liverpool or Man Utd, one of them will have their eye on the Europa league 1/4 final tie which is to be played on 7th April. It maybe of help to us.

I have always thought the opposite of his time at Liverpool, he left them in a much worse position than when he joined. He may have won a few cup competitions but it means nothing. When Barca/Bayern have won CL recently it's because they were the best, unfortunately the best in Europe don't always win the CL.

Rafa dismantled a top four team and his decision to sell Alonso was as bad as Wilkinson selling Cantona. He even tried to sell him one season before he actually left. The fat waiter still defends the decision, he is deluded.

How can it mean nothing? It means you've won something which is what every player and fan dreams of. A million people turned out in Liverpool when they paraded the Champions League trophy!

And you've just wiped out half of our history.

I'm guessing this is on telly tonight? Newcastle have a bizarre habit of winning a lot of their televised matches, almost as if the players are putting themselves in the shop window...

Ideal scenario for us.. not that I've overcomplicated this or anything

is Liverpool go through because according to West Ham twitter they couldn't set a date for replay until united europa dates were sorted which makes me think it'll be the midweek before our game. Therefore both would have midweek games either to prepare for or before hand.

I 100% have not also seen that brazil play on the wednesday morning at 1.45 a.m and that will benefit us with firmino and coutinho having travelled. Although Lamela plays tuesday night at 9..

It's scary to think that it's looking like just us and Leicester for the title now, who the fuck would have guessed that, absolutely crazy. I'd probably say that near the top of the table it's only really us, Leicester and West Ham who are actually playing well. Arsenal and Man City are playing way below what's expected of them and United are just so poor. Speaking of United I'm still in shock when I see their starting line up and see Rashford, Lingard and Martial leading the attack, how they're fallen so.

It will be way too early for Rafa to have made any direct impact on the squad

McClaren going however may have removed a negative effect
Not too sure, if anyone can get a defence more compact and organised in three days it's Rafa.
