I don't know if it's already been highlighted but those so called pundits on Sky Sports hardly mention us or give us a chance. Not surprisingly the 2 goons are still backing their club even though they are playing so inconsistently. I'm undecided if I like us being under the radar. I want us to get credit where it's due.
Also anyone seen Henry's top 4 team? Only Alli gets in from us. We've shipped less goals than anyone and none of our defensive line gets in.
To coin a phrase "I would love it if we beat them!"

To be honest Henry and Souness in particular have been quite complimentary towards us and our chances.

Even the 888 betting add I just got on here was a picture of steptoe ,aguero and ozil it would be feckin amazing to win it just to stick a rocket up the sporting world's arse.
I like being under the radar but do find it a bit insulting as well.

Oh good god. You're actually seriously asking me that....... ? Let me help you.

On the 13th Jan when we played them, they were 4 points above us. After that game they were 7 points above us. Had your rucking ridiculous theory of it being a 6 pointer lol been true, had we won the game we would have been 1 behind, honest its only 3 points for a win 4 behind, win the game 1 behind, its just nursery math, tough to understand but its the truth. By the way, its the 12th Feb, weve played a few games since a month has passed, honest so has leicester. Why not ask me that question again in another month, so I can make what you say look stupid again ?
Seriously?

Fucking hell you're special you are.

I think Merson got it spot on regarding Leicester. It's fantastic that they beat the big teams but they do come at them, it's when the likes of West Brom and Newcastle and such go to their ground and just sit back and probe. It's what we've had to deal with at WHL quite a bit the last few years. Yes it's hopeful thinking, I've been trying to convince myself that they'll drop points at certain stages throughout the whole season but teams will respect them a lot more now. Will be interesting, great times.

Check Henry's top 4 team of the season. Kinda contradicts that. 3 goon defenders over our back line?

When he announced his team he did say on several occasions it could just as easily been Toby, Kane or whoever. I've seen Merson, Henry and pretty much all of them be very complimentary toward us so i'm not sure why anyone would feel otherwise, its not as if every opinion has to go our way is it.

At the end of the day its just an onion, that's all but for some reason if any pundits views don't match our onions every single time then they are ****s and if they don't wax lyrical about us they are also ****s and now, even if they do praise us, they are still ****s :D

To be fair to Henry, The Telegraph ran a similar thing with a back line consisting of Bellerin, Huth, Morgan and Monreal.

It most definitely contradicts the goals conceded column in the league table, but it's not just Henry.

You don't win the league based on a snippet of a season.
Fact is we DID play games between August and September and we didn't do brilliantly.
There's no prizes for having the best September to May form.
No one's denying the fact that we played games early season, and that those results will obviously impact where we end up. The quotes you posted were referencing the upward trend in form and results since that time as a helpful indicator in gauging how we do going forward. If our season form table were reversed with us starting the season on fire, but having a recent series of draws and a defeat, then the outlook for future positive results wouldn't be so bright.

Next Up:

Leicester have Norwich at home.

Arsenal play at Manchester United.

Manchester City play at Newcastle.

We play Swansea City at home.

I can see all of them winning those matches. Swansea can be very tricky if we aren't at our best.

Surely we can't play our strongest side in Europa anymore. We're never going to get this chance again.

Well, today they proved to me it's possible.

Not getting too caught up in it, as to even be here - seriously in the mix - is far from what I expected this season, so I'm just gonna enjoy the rest of the ride and look forward to the increasing likelihood of having CL football back at the lane.(y)
