If we had Leicester's last 7 opponents we would have won all 7 games and not drawn one like they did.

That's what I've been trying to tell people. Leicester came through a tough run of games remarkably well and that meant they were in pole position with 10 games to go and had the easiest run in of all the contenders. We had to come through our tough run of games well but we didn't. West Ham, Liverpool and Arsenal netted a 2pt return which simply wasn't good enough for what we required to put pressure on.

If either we or Arsenal catch up with Leicester then surely Leicester won't have the better goal difference.

mate Arsenal? no way will they catch them up. the max they can get is 77pts, Leicester only need 2 wins to get 78.

I'm hoping they only get 2 more wins and max 2 draws, but that means we have to win all 6. to be honest I believe we now need to win all 6, or hope they lose to Wet Spam and Man U, and draw a couple. whatever happens we have to win today now

I still think Leicester will drop points, in particular I think West Ham could beat them and that United and Chelsea can still take a points off them (even if a draw - yesterday was Chelsea's fist defeat since Hiddink came in).

The problem we have is their lead and we would have to win all of our remaining games and I don't think we will. I don't think we will win at Stamford Bridge or the Britannia, West Brom could also frustrate us to 0-0.

I'm just a poor boy I live in a council house:yuck:

and usually loose at betting, their last 3 results I've now won over £50 (not enough to buy my own property yet)

Full credit to LCFC, clean sheets galore and winning games when it matters. We had our chance to go top away at West Ham and then decided to put our worst performance of the season that night, in other words bottled it! The following game we are 2-1 up against a AFC team who were in poor form yet throw that away with 15 mins to go. Them 2 games were where we lost it so it's pointless slagging off Sunderland/Southampton/Newcastle/etc for not taking points off LCFC, if we are unable to take care of our own business do we really deserve to win it...?

Are you seriously suggesting that Sunderland outplayed them today?!

it was a very even game up to the 1st goal, after that Leicester looked the more likely to score again apart from Rodwell's chance, but that was more down to Sunderland having to leave themselves open in hope of an equaliser.

if we take the lead today Man Utd will have to leave themselves open on the counter as they need a result too.

hopefully sitting on a coach for 2 hours to travel 8 miles will help us

If a game is even then IMO it means the away side deserves more than the home side.

we never lost at West Ham, they WON it, our worst performance this season was the 2nd half v Newcastle.

Arsenal did everything in their skins to fight back, we just never took what chances we had to kill it off.

I've been bitter about Leicesters luck and thought they would drop 2 points today. Admittedly I didn't see any of their game today so I can't comment on the game, but I have to give them credit. 5 wins on the bounce with 5 clean sheets. Insane.
